This is all complete rubbish. Discrimination is wrong period. Even when discrimination goes against the hated white men, it is still wrong. End of story. Stop defending discrimination.
Really? No debate or discussion. Just a complete dismissal of the comment.
Where is the justification for discrimination? How is making moves to remove discriminatory obstacles wrong? How is opening doors to minorities that have been stopped from crossing the threshold wrong?
Do you believe that processes and decisions were all non-discriminatory up until now and now they are discriminatory against whites? A little discrimination has significant ripple effects. It results in your minority colleagues getting fewer opportunities, smaller raises, taking much longer to get promoted, requiring much more to be deemed qualified. Next thing you know you’re working alongside a colleague making $25-30k less than you doing the same job. Then that colleague leaves for a $40K raise at another company who appreciates that talent.
Its not a good look to invest so much in colleagues only to make it so easy and enticing for them to leave.
