Question

There has been so much turnover at this company over the last 6-12 months that for you to try to pin these postings on one person is funny.

People who no longer work here can't have opinions about EndoChoice? Wow. Talk about burying your head in the sand. Those people tend to have valid opinions about the issues that are going on with a company. You may not want to hear them but it doesn't mean that they aren't honest.
Honesty and stupidity go hand in hand with the posts you mention. Just because someone currently employed or formerly employed, decides to voice a grievance or share an opinion, doesn't make it accurate. There's a bigger picture and a much deeper goal at EndoChoice and it's certainly not represented by the ingrates and failures who get on here to "release". Be gone or stay gone!
Or keep it up cause this is very entertaining!

If you look at our sales rankings for last year, over half of the sales force didn't sell a single Fuse.

Unless you have sold multiple systems at multiple accounts, stop posting on cafepharma in the middle of the day and STFU. Don't pat yourself on the back because you sold one at a community hospital that does 500 cases a year.

Hi all. I was recently called by a recruiter for a territory manager opening and starting the interviewing process. Average reps are making 300k with some making 500K and more. Plus a $100,000 bonus for being rep of the year! Obviously every company has its challenges but for that kind of money what do you expect! I can put up with challenges for that type of reward and hard work. The Fuse videos look awesome and a full line of best in class G.I. devices to fulfill the needs of the doc.

Can't figure out why there would be so much turnover but possibly there's been some bad hires? Looks like you need some seasoned sales people who have been through the trenches and don't give up. Looks like this company doesn't need the new millennial medical rep who thinks everything is just handed to them. Too many order takers hired recently?

Please interview, get the job, and report back here in 6 months. Then you will know full well why there is so much turnover from both 'millennial' reps as AND 'seasoned' reps. Take a look at the IPO stock price and compare to the current stock price. It doesn't take a genius to see that things are not good here. As soon as I land something good, I'm out...

You are on the money! Although I wouldn't say the average rep is making 300K. Some? Yes, but not the average. Some over $500K? Yes, but probably only a couple. I'd expect those stats to become the norm though.
It can be done and EC is only getting better. Don't listen to the tool bags who get on here posing as EC reps. And if they are actually employed by EC, then know they do not represent what we're all about. It takes the strongest to go from unknown (and everything against you) to actually making a difference. We're making a difference!

Wow. This post explains the high turnover here. You've been drinking during the mornings to say that this is $300-$500K job.

Here's the real answer. This job for the average rep is between $140-$160K. To get in the over $200K category, you have to either sell a lot of Fuse(6-8 systems) and or hit all three bucket categories. In 2015 only two reps hit all three buckets. Approximately only 50% of the sales force sold at least one Fuse unit.

Less than a handful of reps sold more than three + Fuse systems last year. Check the YE report, we sold 58 systems in the entire US in 2015. If quota is 2.5 systems and the sales force is 50 reps, pretty easy to do the math to see that most territories didn't sell Fuse.

Do yourself a favor, get on LinkedIn and reach out to both reps who have left and reps who are still here. I'm guessing that the post about $300-$500K is either a recruiter or a manager trying to fill a territory.

Is turnover an issue? Absolutely. When one of the managers tells the sales force during the NSM that his most tenured rep is seven months, what does that say? The average rep's tenure here is one to two years. Only four or five reps have been here 3+ years.

If you don't like it here, move the fuck on! There are reps here that actually like what they do. Amazing, isn't it?

That's right! We are changing lives. It's no secret that there's huge money here if you have the right mental attitude and work. I've made over $1,000,000 here over the last 2 years. The big money is right here if you want to work for it. It's extremely rewarding and I get up every day absolutely loving what I do. I provide solutions. I don't let obstacles get in the way. Too many of our reps are lazy and complain that they actually have to work and things don't come easy. It's shameful. Ludicrous actually. And it's also on our RMs to get those people out and get performers on board. There's no excuse! There's no reason everyone shouldn't be at 300k plus. A few of us are doing it! Work a full day and it will be yours too.

It has nothing to do with not liking what I do but let's be honest about the money here. Soon, you're going to tell me that people are making a million dollars here.

We had seven reps hit forecast last year. Two reps hit all three buckets. Sold 58 systems in the US when we have 50 reps and forecast is 2.5 rooms per rep. One person may be hitting good money but his base salary is over 100K while every other rep is between 60-75K for salary. Not arguing his salary, he has been here a while. But don't give people the impression that $300K is the norm because it isn't.

Look at the top three reps that were on stage. One rep made over $300K because he has been here forever. Other two reps were in the $200+ range. That means that the majority of the sales force wasn't even close to this $300K range that you talk about. They weren't even in the $200K range.

You can call names but I'll stick to the facts.

I should have read the next post. One million dollars. Alrighty then....

You didn't read accurately and have obviously given up! Just leave already, and stop taking your inability to succeed here out on the core of this company. Be gone! You're a complete moron.

Or...keep it up cause your providing me with really good entertainment when I'm on the shitter.

Funny that you don't dispute the numbers or the amount of reps that are hitting forecast either or how few Fuse systems sold last year or the fact that with the exception of one person, no one is making $300+ like you claim....

I don't dispute it because I don't care. I only care that my comp plan is fair and the opportunity is there for me to make great money, which both are. The rest is up to me. Keep chasing that silver spoon you grew up on!

Hell Yeah! The average rep here makes $300K. Don't let the doubters fool you. You get a few lube and bite block customers, you are on the gravy train with biscuit wheels

What a joke Fuse has become, so quickly. The turnover is real. The lack of sales is real.

Take the job, sell some procedure kits, and keep fooling yourself that a capital deal is around the corner... it isn't happening. And you'll be looking for a new job in about 18 months.

The earnings are announced tomorrow morning before the market opens. I think it will only show 13 systems shipped in the US last quarter. If that is the case, it won't be good. Also, they supposedly had $103 million in cash at the end of last quarter. It will be interesting to see what the cash balance was @ the end of Q4, especially compared to how the net loss for the quarter affects that cash balance.

Did fast Eddy C in New York sell all 13 of those
