Product launch? New sales force?

I had the video call. Went well. Manager seemed very cool. Really seemed like a guy you could work for. I spoke with Princeton one today, they haven't heard back from manager yet. Face to face and final interviews in Atlanta or Chicago mid November. Offers by end of year, Start end of January, early February. I didn't get specific's on numbers. Too early in process.

I figured the managers were recruiting their former reps from Avanir even though the recruiters were told not to call but only if they applied suggesting from previous managers. Only 140 reps and managers have them hand picked. Well my former Avanir manager was a hitch and was fired so no neurocrine job for me

Heard Denise Sales Director brought over the Texas and Ohio managers from Avanir , any more ?

I have my video interview this week. It's with the hiring manager. I had 2 phone screens with Princeton One prior to this step. My base is over $105k right now, and both phone screeners told me that I would get an increase in base. As far as bonus structure goes, both said that target bonus has not been determined yet, but it will be uncapped (aren't the all).
My biggest concern for this drug is coverage. Over 80% of schizophrenia patients are Medicaid or Medicare, so no McKesson copay cards. Plus, I'm worried that they are hiring too many reps for such a small market. I fear that one year down the line you'll see some downsizing.

Are there anymore interviews after video interview with hiring manager or will that make their decision after 1 interview?

I had one Princeton One phone screen & had my video interview yesterday. I was told only 8 of the 16 managers have been hired so the video interviews are not necessarily with the manager for that opening

I've had one Princeton One phone screen but have heard nothing else. Sounds like it could be a good opportunity as I have talked to a few psychiatrists who said this could be a great breakthrough. I do not like the fact not all managers are hired yet because during interviews I feel we as reps are interviewing the managers just as much as they are interviewing us. Would hate to get an offer and be stuck with a micromanaging jerk. How do the people who have gone through the process so far feel about the opportunity? Is it worth the risk? I have a stable job right now(as much as it can be for Pharma) but this really intrigues me. Thanks in advance everyone.

I just talked to Princeton One today and they told me I should be on the lookout for the screener to call me to set up first phone screen. They are doing it by sections of the country.

I would say if you are out of work and need a job, you take it. If you're relatively happy where you are don't make the move. If you're totally miserable than come on over but the mgmt is all from Avanir and Forest and those are some pretty bad companies.

God you are such the A typical pharma rep jumping ship to a unknown company for an 7/8K in crease in salary with questionable sales leaders... You are a dime a dozen. So so many unknowns here.

OK Mr. Know it all. Stop your preaching. This will be a good place to work for a while. Get in, get paid, get some stock and then when company gets bought hopefully we will make some good $ on the stock.

The sales positions do not start until April. That is a fact. Tentative offers go out in January contingent upon approval of the product. You don't even start this job until April officially. You have to hold your breath until April. Good luck with that.
