Product launch? New sales force?

You are incorrect. Only a few managers were hired from Avanir.

Maybe they want someone who knows how to use "there" correctly. Just saying...

Wow. I'm sure you have never accidentally made a spelling error. This was a post about Neurocrine, not spelling and grammar. If you are with Neurocrine, maybe it is because they want anal retentive micro managers.

they are holding off to interview a lot of people from Otsuka that got cut in their layoffs two weeks ago. Was told by recruiter no decisions until after holidays because Ncrine is closed all week. Good luck.

was told bonus was going to be MBO. , so not based on sales. I was also told they thought the PSYCH were the target market. They will really fail if they do not go for the neuro market. Once TEVA gets their drug approved( with their big bucks and neuro relationships) Neurocrain's could be just a memory. Any thoughts?

I have called on Neuros for a long time (mostly movement types) and trust me they treat TD quite often. I am still in the running when so I will ask the powers that be their thoughts on Movement Clinics? Good Luck to all.

I've called on almost every movement disorder clinic in the state. this company just does not get how important movement disorder clinics are going to be. I interviewed with four clowns at one of the hub locations. I remember one very feminine guy from Tennessee, Rob Douchecharm. I don't believe that idiot has ever seen the inside of a gym in his life based on his appearance.

I agree with the post on movement disorder clinics. When i brought that topic up during my hub interview, I knew at that point I will not be called back next year. The crazy thing is, I recall a neurology grand rounds I attended and one line the speaker said was " As long as psychiatrists keep using anti-psychotics, including abilify, we in movement will have job security "

the manager that have been on board for several months in Midwest is just spending time interviewing every day looking at the resume is quite proud of interviewing 60 people

You may want to re-read that sentence friend. Indeed, "there" is suitable. Regardless, isn't this supposed to be a place for information and not a grammar discussion?
The sentence was, "The word is that if their interested in Avinar reps in your area, you are screwed."
Please tell me, friend, how you could use "there" in that sentence as well, and have it be correct grammar?
Maybe if it read, "The word is that if there is interest in hiring Avinar reps..."
Sorry-huge pet peeve of mine...second to someone grammar shaming someone else, when they don't have the correct grammar in the first place.
And if this is a place for info and discussion-a friendly reminder that you started this...just saying, again

I believe it's a matter of interpretation and I interpreted the meaning of the original sentence to be the latter of your examples. Fair enough, I shouldn't have"grammar shamed" the writer. It was more of a reaction to a post that to me sounded entitled and whiny which is my pet peeve.

Probably because it is a trash manager who has been destroyed at previous stops. They do not know how to hire or how to have results at all. It will be a good fit with their new boss, metrics will run wild and things that matter will never appear...

I agree with all these points which is why I'm considering not taking the interview. The money sounds good but I really am having a hard time comprehending where the growth for this product will take place seeing TD is not as relevant because of the newer generation atypicals. Unless, they can score a few more indications I just don't know how this drug can be profitable in the long run. Does anyone else have any thoughts?

Spoke with big time psych/national speaker. He said there is a lot of buzz around this drug but said most of sales would come from cmhc's and state hospitals. Private practice psych's just pull the pt off their atypicals at the 1st sign of TD. Yes the $$ is good but what are the individual goals???? And are state medicaids gunna pay??? That is the question. Anyone take an offer yet???
