Procedures & Expectations Email

Central Zone sets the tone! Of what? Hahaha. Management, again has lost their minds. People looking to leave, but praying they get laid off. Nothing but reactive management who change our focus weekly. Saying if people don't like it than leave. How about you upper management, leave! What are the results of that survey? HR working like busy bees to put out documents that now back reps into a corner. Clueless, classless people steering us into an iceberg. F@ck the elevator in the skyscraper Balzer! You are what's ripe and rotting. Disgusting to think treating us like children will solve DCV.

The culture at Sanofi is horrific! No company treats their employees as bad as Sanofi. Everyone who has left will tell you the grass isn't greener but still not as bad as working at Sanofi. Recruiters are desperate to fill jobs but know Sanofi has a garbage reputation. Management is terminal.

Then get a real medical sale job! These are baby step jobs and you are treated as such. Great pay, benefits, little work. I left this shithole years ago and love my job. Great boss, 200k, 5weelks off but you have to pay your dues.

Your an exempt employee, which means Sanofi can be as unreasonable as they like because you are not protected by the Fair Labor Standards Act. If they want you making sales calls 30 hours a day, 10 days a week they can ask you to do so, and if you don't like it you can leave.

Good companies don't behave like that, which is why they have loyal employees, but no court can protect you from an abusive work environment under a law that does not apply to you. Pray to get downsized or, better yet, send out some resumes and see if you can do better. Sanofi is not the only game in town.

This is what I have been told as well. And all I can say, is I know how to be equally as unfair, abusive, unreasonable, and fucked up to them. I don't have to be that way. But I can be. I have a rule, I treat the company, the way they treat me. And it's not looking good for Sanofi. When you are so bad to your employees that they truly don't care if they get fired, then you are asking for people to not give a shit. Reps will sit on their asses and laugh all day while Sanofi pays them a check. One day, they might get fired but they don't care. And that is a bad environment.

I think it is a generally shared sentiment. We are right back to no one gives a crap. Fire me. Right now I am going back to bed. I give zero fucks about this company and their problems...problems that were self created and I can't fix. Wake up the CEO and ask him what we should do about access but I am sleeping in. There is no leadership here, nothing to sell or care about. Terrible company.

I've only been here for a couple of years in Specialty cardio and can honestly say I've never seen anything like this, anywhere! My manager has been here for years and he's pretty real world and good at filtering the BS. I'm appalled at how my PC1 rep has been treated and his Diabetes counterparts. You continue to bash people over the head everyday and they eventually become numb to it. Not sure what the answer is, but this is far from it. Sad day for Sanofi.

Novo was told last week they will have lay offs and will get final word labor day week. Which is rather ironic. Yet still I envy them. At least their leadership is being transparent. You can be certain that we will have lay offs as well but Sanofi won't say anything until the last minute and will spend the interim threatening people with being fired. We know we are being fired one way or another because Sanofi has no diabetes or cardiovascular pipeline.
You would be a really dummie to think what we have now is sustainable. If only they would act like they share one brain among 5 of them. Someone up top is getting some kind of bonus for attrition. Don't leave people. You hang on because they deserve to face us and tell us the truth. I have saved as much money as I can this year because I knew this was coming. Cancel your gym memberships, your cable, everything you can and hang on. Make them pay you severance. My God this company has no class. And don't forget to NOT sell today. Not one word about anything but the eclipse ALL DAY.

I think it has become so desperate in such a short time that field sales is actually wanting to exact some revenge. Based on the posts I am seeing Sanofi just shit the bed again. Personally I don't even care about my bonus anymore. You can have it. I don't even want your bonus. My bonus will be seeing Balzer, Washburn, the lot of them sacked.

Well generally people will do anything for money including abandoning their faith and immediate family members. LOL I think Sanofi is counting on that but I am with you. There is a line and they crossed it. Terminate that Leadership. You unleashed a lion!

The working conditions that you all speak of, is a part of "the plan". Sanofi has turned this place into a sweatshop. Overworked and underpaid. This in NOT happenstance. The noose is tightening. Not much time left. Get comfortable being uncomfortable.

It's true. Our sales force is just plain done. I was one of the delusional very few left who still worked hard and wanted to do a good job for my company. My counterparts gave up months ago. I thought if I worked longer hours and really really tried to sell my products that things would be ok. I was wrong. This past year has just been one catastrophic change after another until even those of us who still cared are just plain done as well. Treat the employees who are the face of your company to your customers like nothing more than chess pieces and your company will fail. Every time.

I actually am not uncomfortable. I am very comfortable. I am watching tv and laying in my very large California king bed that is paid for. In my house that is paid for. With my personal vehicle that is paid for. Because I have worked hard I have been duly rewarded. Now they need me hella lot more than I need them. The way they are treating us, ie, attempting to make us "uncomfortable" I say let those motherfuckers eat cake. Don't care.
