Procedures & Expectations Email

Honestly, I haven't read the document bc I don't care. But I can promise you this, the more they fuck me, the more I will fuck them right back. I do not care about being fired or laid off. Come get me assholes. I hate this place. But I will take your fucking money all day long until you get rid of me. Good luck.
Amen. Don't get mad get even.I'm doing lunches everyday and when the doc comes back I just say hi and we talk about anything but sanofi products. Literally anything. I make sure no product info anywhere. When I leave they just think I was a lunch fairy. They think they can be as rude and disgusting to us as possible and there won't be backlash. Well it's coming right at you. By the way Brian culture is not wishing people happy birthday. Seriously you have to be fucking kidding me. Get a grip on yourself.

Oh and one more thing (possibly 2) I am not your 24 hour a day servant. You would have to pony up a lot more money than current pay rate for that. You want to spend 24 hours a day in my life? No problem but that's about 1000 a day. I know because that's my side gig. And further, and most important you fucking tool bags, go fuck yourselves.

By far the best post yet! Love your passion!!

That's classic. Love that attitude. You rock it bro. Sho me the money and sho you no work. I "quit" 4 months ago but I'm still on the payroll...if you know what I mean. This place is awesome! What a company!! #feelingenvied

love all these posts. But I've been screwing these A-Holes for years, nothing really different, they start banging the drum and I salute and F them a little more. More lunches you want? Ok, my family eats better . Useless lunch webex? Yummy food for my children. Love to try new restaurants! Oh... and I've "won" 4 trips.

Management knows these expectations in this industry are unrealistic and completely impossible to meet. We are forced to sign and acknowledge them and then they have a document that allows for them to fire anyone they choose for cause as it suits them. There is not one of us who can meet these expectations given the environment and limitations of this industry.
We have been trying to tell them for years about declining access. And access is not our problem to solve. They could do a better job negotiating with hospitals that own these offices and gaining some access. This is like having a job at a factory but every day you go and the door is locked. I am not the one locking the door. That is an industry problem. Why don't you put those money grubbing assholes at ZS on it? And ask the CEO he is the one being paid 15 million a year.
And really if I turned in only face to face interactions with targeted prescribers not only would I not have a job but neither would my manager, my RBL, and on up the food chain right up to Balzer and Washburn and beyond. They know it. Because it is a god damned fact and reality. Get off my back and fix it.

What a joke this is. I've got 4 kids at home and getting them to school in the morning and getting them to their evening activities is what happens on my personal time. Not Sanofi's administrative requirements. If it's required work, then it's done on company time. Not mine. So they continue to preach "total office call" but now they say calling on nurses, care coordinators, office managers, etc do not count as a call. The people that come up with these policies need work as sales reps for 6 months before they start this crap. Doesn't home office employees have the opportunity to work at home on Fridays? Like they're really working all day on Fridays at home.
the lazy pieces of shit at HO have a cafeteria, a clean bathroom, a gym, and myriad other perks. Those bishs wouldn't last 2 days doing my job. As far as the lunch thing goes-that one makes me laugh. I never get a lunch break. I work through my lunch everyday. But not anymore. As far as the rest of that bullshit I am just speechless. Do they even know what we do???? And HO has no job without us. They need to stop taking so many meetings, get their fat asses out of the cafeteria , and shit on their personal time. And while we are on topic sales should draw up expectations for leadership and have them sign off on it. Number one on the list? Stop making stupid fucking decisions. Oh yeah, and we are selling your lake house Brian.

Don't you all get it? This is how you build the CULTURE that so long been the topic at Sanofi. Send this ridiculous shit to the sales team on a Friday. Mention the word "terminate" a million times. Tell them they have to sign something that there is no way to abide by in 2017. Any person with a sense of ethics is sick over this crap! We do our jobs to the best of our ability. Let's be real this is the first step in another downsizing. They clearly don't want the expense of more severance packages.

There are so many things in that Policies and Expectations document that are just screaming for litigation. "An hour or less for lunch"? When is the last time any of us has even taken a lunch hour? We are always doing lunches on our lunch hour-working! Does that mean we get to take ANOTHER hour during the day? Seems like it to me! Expected to be in the field for eight hours not including drive time to and from your territory? When they realigned our territories and gave us accounts there are two hours away? All administrative work must be completed on personal time? Doesn't the exact definition of "personal time" mean that it's "personal"? To MANDATE IN WRITING that "work" be done on "personal time" seems like a major workplace violation to me?
Google Gsk overtime case that went all the way to the Supreme Court. Gsk vs Frank Buchanan. Public record of reps suing Gsk for overtime pay after being told to work 8-5 then don programs and busy work at night. Gsk won because reps are considered exempt employees. As a result no hours set anymore st Gsk only calls per day and never heard anything from management about hours In the field. Is Sanofi begging for a lawsuit??!

Is Sanofi begging for a lawsuit??!

Your an exempt employee, which means Sanofi can be as unreasonable as they like because you are not protected by the Fair Labor Standards Act. If they want you making sales calls 30 hours a day, 10 days a week they can ask you to do so, and if you don't like it you can leave.

Good companies don't behave like that, which is why they have loyal employees, but no court can protect you from an abusive work environment under a law that does not apply to you. Pray to get downsized or, better yet, send out some resumes and see if you can do better. Sanofi is not the only game in town.

I'm so disappointed in upper management with these expectations! Our group have been trying to change the culture to a more positive approach, and they hit us with this crap. My opinion of Joe just went down the tubes.

Joe is fat scum. He has languished here for so long he knows nothing but running the same plays. Contrary to Washburn's talking about how fast he can make something happen I don't see anything changing other than they are getting the ax sharpened for you and me. Don't go down without a fight.

And most of you idiots are probably Republicans who are the ultimate union and employee rights naysayers. They believe corporations are god. What goes around comes around. You get what you voted for.

These expectations are ludicrous! takes me 1-2 hrs or longer to get to territory ( traffic at a standstill) and sometimes 2 hrs back ( same) . I leave at 7am.. don't get home till 7 pm and they expect us to not see targets that don't see reps ( if you make a service call to those no see's and record it you'll be fired ) while our competitors are servicing those same accounts no matter what!! Showing up and servicing the account still gets product and company awareness. Also, So much for Pts first!! Been here over 20 years and this has to be the most insulting request ever!! So much for my CPA goals.. it will now be no more than 20% because I have a lot of no see targeted docs.. I will not call on those Doctors anymore since (as I stated) if I record it as a call I'll be terminated....

I'M SO UNHAPPY WITH THESE STRONG ARM TACTICS AND THREATS AND AM VERY DISSAPPOINTED IN SANOFI!!

I say we all start recording calls based upon the criteria they have laid out. If we all record the 1-2 calls per day that meet their definition of a sales call this company will implode in 2 months. Would kinda be fun to watch the self-destruction.

The culture at Sanofi is horrific! No company treats their employees as bad as Sanofi. Everyone who has left will tell you the grass isn't greener but still not as bad as working at Sanofi. Recruiters are desperate to fill jobs but know Sanofi has a garbage reputation. Management is terminal.

I've worked at various companies throughout my life (small to large, public to private, minimum wage to good salary), and this company treats their employees THE WORST than any place I've ever seen, BY FAR. When I tell family members what goes on here, they shake their heads in disbelief, and several of these family members work in the industry, so they know how things (should) work!

The sad thing is that my partners and I really do like what we do on a daily basis...talking to docs and staff about our meds, interacting with healthcare institutions, and we do enjoy hearing when our meds have changed patient lives. I mean some of our own family members are on the drugs we promote, so we know how well they can help people. But the way upper management here treats their people is appalling. Heck, the way a lot of first line managers treat their people is appalling. And I'm not talking about the lazy-ass people who don't give a damn and never leave the house . I'm talking about people who have been here for years and years and have put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into their careers. I just don't get it. It's like everyone in charge skipped basic management 101 classes when they got their degrees. It's truly mind-boggling. I know my area has a REALLY hard time finding good people...the reputation here the past 5 years has tanked so much. I guess people don't want to earn below industry averages in terms of pay AND be treated like dog shit. It's one thing to be treated like shit if you're rolling in bonus or a 6 figure base. It's another to be paid below average AND be treated like a 3 year old.
