Procedures & Expectations Email

What are your thoughts?
Well is everyone just clueless here? Use your noggin. Why would they put out superduper expectations right now....before a restructure? Because they are afraid you lazy butts will stop working once they tell you another lay off in the works. And sales results suck. And they ran out of pipeline. Right now Balzer has his head inside the pipeline screaming bloody hell "where is my big pharma bucks" and he has big tears streaming down his pudgey little face and his pants are down around his ankles and he keeps saying my butt hurts. I woke up this morning and my butts hurting
me. And finally God damn those DCV reps give them new policies and expectations because leadership cannot stop fucking up! He is gonna mek us pay for his butt burning and his empty pipeline and the eclipse and muggy weather and hard tomatoes and mushy apples. The reps are bout to pay. Big time.

They treat us like we're 11yrs old. Insulting. Companies have sued based on overtime and won, how are they going to tell us to do all administration work on our personal time? This company wants your Soul. Run!

its the same bs it's always been. Like all our reprints and sales tactics it's 11 years old.
True dat. The definition of a sales call has not changed, actually watered down. Only thing that's different is that th weekly newsletter is now a primary tool.

Hours are the same, when to enter a call etc.

The timing is shitty. Not unexpected. Their management is totally unaware. Straight out of the book "How to lose friends and irritate people"

Can't wait to quit. Very soon. Very soon.

Cheer up!!! It's Friday or in pharma land, day off. I will not let them poop on me without sticking it to the man! And yes, my sales are fine. Back at it on Tuesday.
Wow. You are are go-getter. You actually work Tues-Thursday. Your definitely envied and a true role model, all at the same time, driving sales. Are your work hours ten to two? Good job, mate.

There are so many things in that Policies and Expectations document that are just screaming for litigation. "An hour or less for lunch"? When is the last time any of us has even taken a lunch hour? We are always doing lunches on our lunch hour-working! Does that mean we get to take ANOTHER hour during the day? Seems like it to me! Expected to be in the field for eight hours not including drive time to and from your territory? When they realigned our territories and gave us accounts there are two hours away? All administrative work must be completed on personal time? Doesn't the exact definition of "personal time" mean that it's "personal"? To MANDATE IN WRITING that "work" be done on "personal time" seems like a major workplace violation to me?

Amen!! Seems to me like they are trying to manufacture the reasons so they can justify dropping the hammer on just about anyone as things continue to deteriorate moving into the Fall. This is the world of "kindergarten pharma" we live in now folks------treat everybody like they're a 5 year-old. Now when the shit hits the fan at years-end, it will make it easy for management to pick their favorites and suck-ups to keep, then get rid of the rest. Unbelievable what passes as solid people management skills in pharma these days.

And if they are going to hold true to that definition of what a sales call is then be prepared for us to log two calls a day. So that bullshit to your shareholders! We do what we can with the access we have! And those two calls a day are sure not going to show that I was in the field for eight hours a day Even though with drive time it was probably much longer!

Management knows these expectations in this industry are unrealistic and completely impossible to meet. We are forced to sign and acknowledge them and then they have a document that allows for them to fire anyone they choose for cause as it suits them. There is not one of us who can meet these expectations given the environment and limitations of this industry.

What a joke this is. I've got 4 kids at home and getting them to school in the morning and getting them to their evening activities is what happens on my personal time. Not Sanofi's administrative requirements. If it's required work, then it's done on company time. Not mine. So they continue to preach "total office call" but now they say calling on nurses, care coordinators, office managers, etc do not count as a call. The people that come up with these policies need work as sales reps for 6 months before they start this crap. Doesn't home office employees have the opportunity to work at home on Fridays? Like they're really working all day on Fridays at home.

Honestly, I haven't read the document bc I don't care. But I can promise you this, the more they fuck me, the more I will fuck them right back. I do not care about being fired or laid off. Come get me assholes. I hate this place. But I will take your fucking money all day long until you get rid of me. Good luck.
