Predictions for Takeda 2013

1. Major reorganization that will result in a minimum of 15% reduction in head count.

2. Edarbi will no longer be promoted and production will end by beginning of 4Q.

3. I will continue to work only 15 to 20 hours a week and my numbers will be in the top 30% of my district and I will continue to make an ungodly amount of money for working very little.

Alo/Actos combo will rock the OAD market. Drs have been waiting on this drug for over 5 years, the reps that are lucky enough to get selected to sell it will make some serious coin.

If you honestly think Actos/Alo Combo will even be approved..... You are delusional. If you remember back, the FDA had problems with Alo... why is Alo the only DPP4 to be rejected? What do you think Takeda is not telling us?

All the FDA wants is post approval data for alo, from Japan. It's already a done deal, submitting the Japan data was more of a formality. Whether you haters like it or not, alo WILL be coming to market in the US.

I think all three predictions above are solid!

People who come on here & bad mouth others who post the likelihood of job reductions do so because they are scared & don't want to hear the truth & have a problem with their ego. Fact is there will ultimately be job reductions, the handwriting is on the wall, just don't know exactly when & only corporate will know this & they won't tell anyone until just before the layoff calls are about to come. Many times I have heard of managers coming on here to deny layoffs just to keep reps in the dark & motivated to keep selling in order for profits to keep rolling in for corporate & big bonuses for those same managers. We've got your number on this!

Definitely will be some form of field force reduction this year, just don't know the exact numbers at this time. Corporate upper management is working on this formula at this time & numbers & dates will be released in the not to distant future. If you deny this fact you are just an ostrich with your head in the sand!!
