One rep in NY was promoted and two left. The NY region consists of more than just NY. I don't think either resignations surprised anyone.

You can't blame anyone for not wanting to move forward with the LC transition. Let people who really want to be in the position have the job.

The question should not be what happened in NY? It's just a result of life after Genzyme and it's fine. You either get with the new program or you don't.

Genzyme will fade away, back to the crap they were when they were impath. labcorp will run anyone with a brain off, the rest will stay and hate life because of it. There wont be genzyme banners all over the NSM this year, just LCA on everything. You will be asked not to use the name genzyme, but everyone still will because when people hear the work labcorp they usually barf.

They do it to every lab they buy. LabCorp promises not to touch anyone for a year or so and after that ... bend over, they will drive .....

With the integration of US abs, Esoterix, Dianon and now Genzyme in to the 2012 Integrated Onclogy Labs, will there be conslidation? (specifically west coast) Seems lik a lot of redundancy

What is going on with all the open leadership positions? Started with 12 managers and now there is only 5 or 6... There has to be some planned consolidation.

LCA canned about a third of the genetic counselors within the first two weeks of the acquistion which was tough.

I'm pretty sure a couple of the acquired companies will be merged into the Westborough location by the end of 2012 including Kimball Genetics, Correlagen, and one more lab. Evenutally, GG Westborough will be closed and consolidated into the new facility at the HQ in Burlington.

the sad part of this is Genzyme was a like a family, employees never left, unless they found an even better gig. What happened???? Henri got so greedy that our best strategic partner was LC, the shock still hasn't worn off

What happened to all the Client Service People at Genzyme.

For years I would call and speak to the same people. They were all so helpful etc...

Now when I call I get different people, some that have no idea what PCR vs IHC is etc...

I swear the last call was routed to a call center in Asia!!
