Company did a lot of work to diagnose, two major findings, first is obvious and pricing, just got it wrong. Second was Amgen sales team consistently out performed us. Over the past 18 months they tracked more than 1,000 calls where and MD saw a rep from both companies and we got crushed, 70-30 in favor of Amgen. You can complain about money and speaker programs, it doesn’t matter. We got our hats handed to us blaming MM is just ridiculous and reinforces the total absence of sales force accountability.

You can’t look at one survey and use it to blame reps.
How about poor managed care covered, lack of co pay support for over a year,
Patent lawsuit, constant turnover in leadership, etc....

Of course they had more interactions. They outnumbered in any given territory 6-2, 7-2, 8-2 and some as much as 10-2. Not to mention vacant territories left open for 6-8 months and rep was outnumbered 8-1. Despite this Praluent had a 35% share . Blame on this goes squarely on management of Regeneron and Sanofi. Complete and utter incompetence..watching these leadership clowns on stage was like watching the Gong Show.

You demonstrate the point made. They looked at single interactions - one Amgen and one Regeneron. It was 1:1 ratio and the result was 70:30. Sorry that’s the customers view of our sales force

Umm I don’t work on Praluent, I have a job, a great office and a ridiculous salary. You have anger, desperation and no job. You saw all these failures, all these poor leaders but chose to stay? That says far more about you then them. Good luck selling frozen food door to door, Thats your likely calling. Work hard, smile and sell the chicken better than Praluent. Reps response is pretty typical attitude, always pointing blame at others. Clearly lots of issues and poor decisions but for a rep to suggest they don’t own part of it is ridiculous

Reps do not understand nor do they use conjoint analysis. You're going back and forth with someone that lacks statistical comprehension, and this conversation is over their head.

The arrogance in Regeneron management was astounding . The clowns on stage were classic. Let's not forget the 5 million dollar national meeting and the "let's play dressup" show. Most of us were in the 3rd when we played dressup for Halloween . But watching 40-60 year old act like 5th graders while management cheered everyone on is memorable. Many of us were kicking Repatha ass before the lawsuit and Len and company retreated for 2 years . If this was war management would of been shot by there own troops. So glad the shitshow is over. Moved onto a better gig.

Amgen passed us one year in and just grew and grew. have you seen our share in EU? guess what in many markets we are winning or very competitive. what’s the difference? The field force is all Sanofi. You're a tool. It had nothing to do with the reps, ultimately it had to do with contracting. There is no way that Amgen can continue to give it away. The manage care contracting was awful. How many plans was Praluent "exclusive" but Repatha had double digit market share. Regeneron lost its opportunity when they relied on Sanofi to handle the manage care. If you talked to the AE's they were all worried about diabetes.
