Post the Weekly IMS txn numbers here

For an experienced pharma rep, you sure have a lot of time to post on cafepharma. You GSK reps must not have enough catering gigs to keep you busy or maybe it's the fact that since Lovaza is getting its ass kicked, you're looking for a new job.

It is the stock pumper again. He is in panic mode since Vascepa is not doing well in the launch and his stock price has dropped.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Hey GSK trolls, simply get over that Vascepa is a better product and will grow at your expense. It's not personal no cursing, I don't hope you lose your job or that your dog dies OK. What difference does it make to you anyway. Aren't you guys incentivized on taking tests or something stupid like that.? Stick it to the man and let us have half your business, were gonna get it anyway.:)

MUPPET!!!!! Enjoy the ride as your stock falls to zero. You are such a mark, no wonder they're robbing you blind.

Ignore the stock pumper. This POS is a tough sell. Idiots like this are going to lose what little money they have left.

Please note IMS does not measure every zip code but instead uses a projection methodology taking sales in select zip codes that it feels are representative of the entire designated sales territory. If that zip code has not yet been visited by the rep or if the terr is not yet filled, a zero would result and then be magnified across the entire territory.

This is why you cannot judge the success of a launch until you have at least 3-4 months post launch information.

Hope this helps everyone

WRONG. It is certain stores (such as WalMart), that do not report. Instead, IMS will project sales for those stores based on prescriptions filled at nearby stores. IMS is able to track volume going into each zip by the shipments into the zip, so they apportion the sales based on the sample from those stores that are tracked.

Weekly data is used to judge the success of the launch. You take the data and measure it against other similar launches to see if the product is tracking better or worse than others.

Don't post on topics you don't understand. It makes you look even more stupid.

The first poster is correct in that it is a projection not a cumulative addition process. The second article is correct about Walmart not revealing sales, but this supports the first comments. So I vote yes on the first poster and feel sorry for the second posters bad manners

This poster is correct as I previously worked for IMS.

Just a tip, if you don't really understand the data, don't post. It makes you look even more silly.

You didn't work shit troll! Anyone with half a business mind knows market share is the true measure to watch because whether a market is rising or falling, it tells you if you are competing and growing. The trend appears from my IMS data to be going up. We'll see if that continues but it is all good at this point for the longs. Keeps selling boys and girls. How is your payor access?

Another brainless post. Weekly data does not tell market share. It is used to gauge the launch uptake. You compare the numbers to other launches.

As to your other comment, of course the number is going up, since it started at zero. The problem is that the first few weeks are not strong compared to other products that had similar peak sales projections. Go back to your silly yahoo board.

spin away, just because you say it, doesn't make it true. compared to recent launches it is fine as wine and only going to get better with age my little imbecile GSK Troll.

Prescribers love V and are intrigued by it. Finally not doing damage. Sweet is the word being used.

To the bread line with you, lying vermin.

Your stock is a heavy bag that will never pay off. With your free hand I want you to carry my lunch.

The poor little Amarin stock pumper is in panic mode, so he comes to this board to try and make himself feel better with stupid posts like this. Meanwhile, the stock is still a disaster.
