I am sincerely interested in knowing if Cadnece has a a future. The unanswered question I am looking for resides in this poll.

* 1 year
* 18 months
* as long as any other company

Less than 1 year is my guess seeing how our manufacturing is f***** up and no one is doing anything to fix all the mess! We are only as good as the product we sell and IF we have a product TO sell

You will get lots of opinions but those in control won't respond. Answer to your question: depends on how long the reach arounds last

Regardless of the emails and statements that we have reached 100k or this many millions, It still is blah, blah, blah. The sales numbers are not anywhere near what they projected and people are quietly being push out and then the unrepresented hospitals are being absorbed by other sales reps which makes the ranking report complete nonsense. How have people climbed the ranking reports? They have been given more hospitals. Whether one would think this is fair or not, they would have to agree the ranking report then becomes emphatically invalid and absolutely mathematically incorrect when measuring growth and performance compared to those that have had nothing added to their territories.

As others have clearly stated earlier, the company folding isn't a question of if but simply a question of when. Historically when other like companies that purchase agents rather than actually creating agents via R&D, they eventually are absorbed by a larger company or fold. Cadence doest have the financial resources to acquire additional drugs that would have any true merit. The estimation of time left would be reasonably accurate at about 6 to 9 month at best.

Great summary of what is going on here. So frustrating. And for those reps that have grown their territory without being given free accounts, it is so demotivating. I've been on sinking ships before, but I've never seen anything like this.

Whoever wrote this below is right on and well said, especially regarding the rank report. That should be thrown out at this point asmit is pointless to try and rank salespeople when it isn't accurately or fairly compiled. Everyone is well aware that the report is bogus at this point.

Q2 results announced today. Cadence reported a net loss of 21 million for q2. Expenses were 21.1 million and sales were 11 million. Sales estimates for q3 are 13 million.

Company has lost 43.7million Jan-June 2012.

Enough said.

Very, very scary! Still showing that kind of dramatic loss going into 2 years. We all need to wake up and know it is just a matter of time. People are being let go below the radar and only getting a 2 week paycheck with NO severance and NO bonus check. Remember that lil ole document you signed? They don't have to pay us squat in any earned bonus. Anyone have any new job leads? Please, please share!

There are a couple of reps who signed on recently (god knows why?). Think the little ole document was in their new hire packet?

You get mentioned in the earnings as one of the reasons for the big loss. To lose $21 million, you must be getting huge bonuses.

"This increase was mostly attributable to legal costs the company incurred related to its patent infringement litigation, as well as increased commissions paid to Cadence's hospital sales specialists as a result of increased revenue."

All reps should average their total bonus by the number of quarters worked for cadence. I've been in top 20% for all quarters and started nov 2011. I've made less than 15k per quarter. Don't blame company losses on reps.

Without the reps, you wouldnt have ANY revenue. Get rid of all the useless managers if you want to cut losses--yes, that would be you!

But then who will give the reach arounds at President's Club?

I wish I had your territory! Although, I am not really a country girl and have all my teeth. So, maybe I don't wish that after all.
