POA meetings

They don't want to hear the truth and it is that simple. You have to remember that even the leaders and upper management know it's going to take them potentially a long while to find themselves new jobs and they are going to continue to lie to investors, raise the price slightly to reach that magic number to ward off bad press. They are trying to protect their own interests right now and will try to milk this as long as they possible can. I mean seriously, look at someone like Randy. He doesn't have a very good reputation and already came out of two failed companies. He is going to milk this gig as long as he can to get that paycheck because it will take him a very long time to find something else. Facts are facts. The drug hasn't been a tremendous blockbuster and we not have the funds to compete with the big guns of pharmaceutical companies towards bidding for a novel drug. Do you want to acquire some crap drug that no one wants anything to do with? That's the best we can hope for. The ride at this company inevitably will come to an end. We marketed one drug. We have no research dept., we have no drugs in phase 3 trials, we have no future here.
 






All true. I've never been treated worse by any management group (Scios management).

They had no idea how to position/market this product and wouldn't listen to anyone who tried to speak up. They devalued reps from the beginning (only gave options to managers, not reps)...I've never known any start up who did that. Their lack of appreciation for reps continues to be evident in their "restructuring" approach, ie, 15 reps have been "let go" but no managers.

They hired good old boys for manager positions who were not qualified. They reward the "yes" reps that feed their egos but are not, in a lot of cases, successful at selling product.

No, they don't want the truth. They've never wanted the truth. Then HR says they want candid feedback? Anyone who speaks up is punished. It's a very repressive work environment (at least in my district). That's the truth.
 












There is a reason why the truth is rarely told between the hours of 9 to 5... and that reason is job security. So instead we will all nod in agreement at management's lame presentations only to share our true feelings after the POA meeting.

Whoever typed the above statement is a complete moron! We "whiners" are all looking for other job opportunities and that doesn't happen overnight, especially good ones. Only an idiot (like the poster above) would quit a job before finding something else. So shut your pie hole as none of s want to hear it.
