PML cases now reach 82!

If you're too lazy (dumb?) to write a simple sentence with at least the accuracy of a 9-year-old, you're probably not too reliable when it comes to information.

But again, don't worry, everyone can see you're a genius.

Congratulations Biogen. Your PML count with Tysabri has now topped 100 and sits at 102!! And your overall number of users is stagnant. I guess you can only turn so many MS patients' brains to jello before people finally take notice.

There are 57,000 now choosing Tysabri? Wow, impressive.

And that represents a drop of over 25% in those who have tried it. The number is stagnant and will remain there and likely drop as the risk level increases. We all know the risk of PML has continued to increase since the drug has been on the market. Add the new orals into the picture and your beloved Ty will continue to decline in use.

Only 25% of people who've tried Tysabri have stopped using it at some point? That's far below the discontinuation rate for most drugs, especially MS drugs. People must really want to stick with Tysabri after trying it.

I don't have a horse in this race. So, if your "beloved" Novartis drug is really so great, good luck to it. Too bad you're such a Negative Nancy about everything. Must be true that you have quite the grudge.

I wouldn't expect much growth rate at this time. Biogen can't even get 1800 patients to enter a trial. They had to cancel.

The number of approximately 57,000 will likely stay static. A few will go on a bunch will jump off - you get the picture.

If you don't, you're in denial.

Yeah. Well, since you've got no answer for the fact that people stay with Tysabri more than with the other MS drugs, we'll just let you ignore it until you try to raise the issue of discontinuation again in a couple months. Talk about a broken record. You try one failed argument after another. And, when you can't deal with the response, you just ignore it and wait a while before bringing the same faulty argument up yet again.

Joe2: Hey, another case of PML amidst the tens of thousands of people taking Tysabri. Hooray! I don't care about patients. I just want bad things for Biogen. Tysabri should be pulled! Tysabri should be pulled!

Observer: Gee, how arrogant and vengeful of you to suggest all these patients are benefiting from Tysabri should lose it because you're angry at Biogen.

Joe2: I never said patients should lose Tysabri. Uh...umm...that's not what I meant when I said it should be pulled. I just mean that all the people at Biogen are evil.

Observer: Really? So, 4,000 people at Biogen who've decided to work on bringing things to people with MS that can help them when they could have pursued careers that pay much more money are all evil?

Joe2: Uh...umm...no, I never said they're all evil. I mean that all of their management is evil. Yeah.

Observer: OK. Whatever, Joe. So, after 5 years of angry, manic ranting, what is your point?

Joe2: My point... ? Umm... . I'm not really sure. I'm just angry at Biogen. Not because they got rid of me or because of any personal issues I had there. That's not it at all. I'm just a very objective bystander who's upset enough to post angry comments here every day for 5 years for no particular reason. I'm sure everyone believes me.

What a fine example of schizophrenic paranoid delusional ranting. I'm sure you believe you are having a conversation with a real human being. SEEK HELP! There are drugs for your condition.

Hey Sunshine, that's not me you are replying to...just another Ty doubter. Better get your "anonymous" posters straight. Your record in that department is pretty lousy.

I didn't think that anyone could be as obsessed as you are, Sunshine, when it comes make so many wrong comments and assumptions. Gee, your life must be beyond boring...sitting at your computer just waiting for me and others to criticize your beloved Tysabri and then ranting off again with another mini novel. Brings a whole new meaning to the term "sad individual".

Sure thing, joe. (I can only assume you're talking to me, though you seem to call everyone Sunshine.)

Of course, the saddest of all is an individual who's so unable to "move on," as you'd say, that he has to post on the internet every day for 5+ years after he loses his job.

Oh, there is one thing that's sadder: You thinking that what you write here somehow hurts Biogen. ...You thinking that what you say matters.

Nope...I just call you Sunshine...because you are!

Now let me see....if you think that I'm joe, and you thought that I was Patient 1 at one time and 3 or 4 other "anonymous" posters as well....what was that about not being able to move on? Get serious, Sunshine...you are the biggest loser that CP has ever known.

And do you think that I think for one second that I'm hurting Biogen by posting here. You really are a dumb toad, aren't you?!! Let's face it, Sunshine....you can't stand to see me post here and I obviously drive you nuts. You are so upset with me, you think that messages from about 5 other people come from me. Yep, I really get to you :))))))))))

OK, joe. You can call me Sunshine if you like. You can call everyone Sunshine. Just try to take some deep breaths. We might even loosen the restrains a little. Maybe let you walk in the garden.

Not being able to move on is someone who gets canned by Biogen and spends the next 5+ years posting on cafepharma, thinking he's exacting some sort of revenge.

Loser? Toad? Gosh, you are quite steamed, aren't you? I believe you did find another job eventually. What kind of person holds a grudge for so long? You're so insane, joe.

I started the original PML thread back in late 2009.

So proud of my work bringing that jewel to life.

Looks like Biogen is still the same dog with a few more fleas.

I definitely do not miss working for this nightmare of a company.

Carry on people.
