The product is good, but there are many good products out there, and ACell turns out to be more expensive because you have to apply it multiple times. PriMatrix just had a study where 58% of wounds were epithelialized at 12 weeks after ONE application, and these were wounds with a broad range of etiologies. Cost effectiveness is something ACell does not have, even with the DRG, because hospitals eat the bill and don't see the bump.
probably because their sales sucked. if they were making good commissions, i doubt they would have left. remember we work for high commissions in the lack of high salaries. in this environment those with great sales are happy, and those with poor sales simply aren't. its really not that complicated.
