PIP????

Former Rep here. You are right, numbers are only part of the equation. However, I was put on a PIP and told that the only reason was numbers. All my "competencies" were what was keeping my job. However, the last time I didn't make my quota was in Q3 of 2011. The PIP was handed out Feb 2012. Why wasn't it given out in Q4 2011? Not to mention, I was above plan, when PIP was given. I finished above plan in Q1. Was at 97% Vyvanse and 115% Intuniv at end of 90 Days in May. Let go because according to PIP I had to be above plan in BOTH products. So how about not lecturing me in whining!!! I made my quota 3 out of the last 5 quarters before I was let go. We were told to achieve what most Reps would say were unrealistic quotas that seem to increase every quarter, even in the summer!!! I worked hard, did what I was asked to do and didn't complain about it!! I was active on my Team, and actually thought that I had a great relationship with my RD. The unreal part about it all is I know for a fact that there are still Reps working at Shire that had lower numbers than mine. Somehow they still have their jobs!!! Apparently I didn't kiss my RD's ass enough!!! Or maybe I should have been kissing the ZD's!!!
 






Actually if the rep got 2 ms in a row that is pretty bad because they have changed the performance appraisal process. About 75% of reps get a CM and maybe 10 get CE and rest get MS. So maybe they were right to put rep on PIP.
 












What's the exact # of ADHD/Behavioral Health reps we have now? What would your rank need to be if it were solely based on #'s to be right at the borderline of CM & MS? I think all of the open territories are removed & also newer reps who have been here just a year get bumped up regardless of their rank to CM. So even if your #'s did fall solid in where you thought would be a rank of CM I think you will be pushed under some territories that had worse #'s anyway. Is that correct?

Somewhere around 520 I think also. So I need to be in top 15% to get CE I think. But supposibly it's based on competences this year not numbers but I bet u it ends up being same 15% in sales are same 15% in competences. If you are outstanding in all competences you will have outstanding sales.

You obviously don't have a douche bag for a boss like G Arrigo Wilson. Her poor people will have the "favorite" card played on them regardless of competences or results.
 


















If you are as smart as your spelling of the word "competencies" indicates, you probably get your poor rating all by yourself

Im glad you caught that because that is how the brain dead G Arrigo Wilson would spell it. Before casting stones you might want to think if it was written that way for a reason. For your information if reviews were given based on performance and not subjective crap I would get a CE every time.
