Anybody received their W2 from this worthless company?
Not quite as funny as the wax museum post, but SPOT ON.You would think it's a sad day on the western front because as of tomorrow, but it's not since everyone will be free at last! I will not say that there was not a small part of some of us that wanted things to end different but with this outcome I am glad to not have to deal with JW or MR for another day. I had such a high opinion of JW and it is now tarnished, I am about ready to take that "Tales From the Crypt" story take it in the out house, shoot it with my shot gun, run it over with my truck, shoot it again, and let the vultures at it (right along with that guitar and that dang voice box of his!!). If you want to be genuine how about try doing the right thing for once (starting with the severance), and stop doing things for self gain and stop backing your little ginger buddy MR protecting his underqualified friends in operations. MR is nothing more than a sad friendless kid that never grew up still harboring the pain. As an adult the only way he is able to maintain friendships is to offer jobs to friends, just ask JV the product development specialist who has maintained this job title for a year since there has definitely been no products developed by the company at all. Please keep SH and MY on for another month so that they can alternate PTO weeks and SH can swap out her expensive shoes for some accutane!

Note to all previous PCLS upper management.
In case you haven't realized why company X or Y has refused to hired you, it is perhaps because you tried to apply to where a former PCLS employee currently works at. I had a few resumes (MR, TS, SH) bought to me from HR and I kindly assisted them in breaking down the resumes.
Do yourself a favor. Don't apply to anyplace that has any former PCLS employees. Also for pete's sake.. come up with a more realistic title on your resume!
same on the sales side. Would never hire any of them, would never believe their BS titles or claims that they "drove revenue", "created new methods of tracking", "leading a team from zero specimens to growth of almost 10 per month", "worked with operations to create new models". What i would believe is "had everyone report to me except the rep that ran the company", "planned trips to maximize travel points", "had any input at all",. Basically,"i was responsible for all the good stuff but ownership was responsible for all the bad stuff". Heres how the interview goes
me-- what did you do there
them-- motivated everyone, kept the team functioning, drove top line specimens
me-- but those specimens had no revenue potential
them-- specimen volume is whats was important, not payer mix. You don't understand the business
me--why then did the company run out of money
them-- i worked well with everyone and was very popular
me--that doesn't answer my question
them-- ask me a different question
me--why did so many people quit or get fired when you were "in charge"
them-- I was told to do that. I would sell my mother out to save my own job
me--what value do you bring to my company
them-- I will do anything you say, even if it is wrong. I can also spend your money with them best of them.
me--you promoted your friends regardless of talent or ability
them-- lets talk about something else. Where is our rewards trip this year? I planned the one for PCLS
me-- PCLS didn't follow through with that trip
them-- but it sure was fun to talk about, great misdirection. My team was great at that.
them-- when can i start, my friends are texting me because they can't find jobs, and if i hire them here they will like me more.
me-- I'll call you
When will the hiring freeze be lifted? I submitted my resume last July 1 and have not heard back from anyone. Is the corporate office just too busy to respond? I was told I would make high 6 figures, that client service is really great and friendly, and that operations is really here to help. I can't wait to get on board.
So great looking at LinkedIn. MR still is president at PCLS. JW is Director of Strategic Assets. Someone actually hired JA again as a hr business partner and funny fat hat lady. What a bunch of tool bags.
