Phone Screening for Flex Position

Sending 3 candidates doesn't surprise me given the screening call was so basic. No questions like "tell us a time you had an obstacle at work and how you overcame it, blah, blah, blah". This will be your first, second, and third interview wrapped into one.

My guess is DepoMed is a small company - send everyone to one place - it's more convenient. Send top 3 candidates because you may not click with someone, or someone might "forget" to bring documentation of their achievements, etc.

I've only worked full time. I'm in the Southwest.

Heres the question: do you really want flex time or is this to tide you over
Until you get a full time job, since most award winners like the full time benefits and salary, why would you consider only $35K?

hilarious..really ??? some people honestly just want a part time job !!! and for 24 hr. a week, $35,000 is decent money! Please get over your inflated self worth and look elswhere !!!

Called today - Will be flying into Dallas next week for interview. I think she said the first part is a panel interview, then if they like you, there's one more that day. I interview at 1:00 and was told not to schedule my flight back until after 7:00 pm.

To the person wanting recruiter's info for the Southwest: You have to apply on the InVentiv website for the open position. If they like you, the in house recruiter calls you. I'm afraid you're probably too late as I think we've all had our phone screening and are in the process of getting interviews.

I was called last week for f2f. Interview scheduled next week. At least Ventiv offers choice of flight. Publicis did not offer flight and the drive was twice as long for UCB interview. (territory is twice as big with UCB and salary is NOT twice as much) Word of advice there are people who truly want flex time, remember the majority of us have over 10 years of pharma. If you jump ship on CSO before contract is up then you will get flagged especially if you go to another CSO, and lets face it...How many pharma companies are hiring direct these days? Be smart and do not sell yourself short. The best of the best may have young children to feed. Work together on linkedIn to help one another find the right jobs!

its really amazing that they are even offering it- but the cost of gas is a little much! Who is interviewing in so.cal and what positions are you interviewing for? if you have small children at home, this is a great deal!

if you have to ask this question- you didn't get the info from a recruiter-so just let it be. Anyone know what the actual salary range is that they are offering? I've heard 30-35, but it seems to be they could probably go as high as 40 for a very qualified rep. not being greedy, but lets keep it real- we all want as much as we can get for working a part time gig.

its listed everywhere- 30-35, so why not try for more? the question sales rep is...why wouldn't you ask for more than is supposidly offered??

maybe its different state to state. other parts of the country are interviewing in other places, but for the south west I've heard 30-35.
where are you located n what have you heard???

Don't be so smug . . . Have my flight and hotel booked through Century Travel already, so if YOU have interview, you should know I did get info from InVentiv.

For whatever reason, I have yet to receive the email they said they would be sending. While they booked me at the DFW Hyatt Regency, I don't know yet where I'm interviewing. All the info is supposed to come in the email.

If YOU spoke with a recruiter, you should have been TOLD what the salary is - not have been asking the range.
