If you hate your employer that sends you a check every 2 weeks without default, perhaps you can quit and join the Dumbocratic party of parasites and koolaid drinkers. George Soros will send you a check for urinating in public parks as a member of 99% occupy team. It will enhance your self-esteem. I think the point here is that some of us chose to come to work for BMS back in the day when this sort of thing was common. Now when it's too late for any of us "old timers" to make appropriate changes to do something about it the pension and retirement benefits have been taken away. BMS has failed a basic human decency and that is to deliver on a promise or a commitment.

I am an "old timer" with 25+ years with the company. Nothing has been taken away from me. The pension is frozen based on earned benefit, and not lost. Plus, the company is solvent and I am getting amount added to 401K. Those who are worried, save a least 20-25% in 401K (pre-tax and after-tax). You will be glad you did years from now.
