Part-Time postings?? Nationwide!

Ok...any reason a recruiter would call....give phone interview and say she would pass me on for Skype interview....and then.....nothing. emailed several times...nothing. Do not hire list perhaps?
 






I received the same information when they offered. Home study week of nov. 10, then live training for 4 nights week of nov. 17 probably in NJ. I was told there would be a second wave to start home study the week of nov.17. In most cases, I don't believe they have even hired managers yet.
 












Yesterday I received an invite to apply online with references, work history and dmv check. I did my Skype interview on Friday. No idea about f2f. Has this happened to anyone else? Wondering if I will even have another interview.

Some managers are rolling over from other contracts or are former employees.
 
























Recruiters are learning as they go. I think I have learned most from this website! ED drug, primary care, thought it was virtual training, now I see its going to NJ for 4 nights. No one really knows the full story which I suppose is by design. Huge territories, no other job, no benefits. mileage.....what else....
 






First wave is week of Nov 17 training in Philly. Not sure on how many days. Second wave of new hires starts training week of Dec 1st. Home study is the week prior to the training.
 












I had the skype interview with the recruiter Thursday then on Friday received email with application and background check etc. Was told there I will hear from the hiring manager this week for the final interview which will be either skype or ftf. Home study would start 11/17 and training somewhere near Philly first week of Dec. they said the territories are very large but we are paid for all driving time and we will have a small number of PCP's to call on.
 






No one can apply if they are still on the Merck contract. There is a questionnaire you fill out before the Skype interview and it asks if your currently on another contract. If your on another contract, you can't apply. They are not allowed to take current reps from another contract.
 






Home study may start before f2f with managers. I had a Skype interview yesterday and they are still interviewing a mgr. for the area I would be reporting to. The second wave of new hires may meet the mgr.
