Maricel "is a strong leader..."This poster has got to be kidding? Not only is she an ugly person on the outside, but she is a despicable person on the inside. She establishes her credibility by firing people. Feels this makes her look like a strong leader.
TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A JOB; you can always get one at Paratek. However, you need to ask yourself why there are always openings at Paratek? Why does EVERYONE take this job for a short term position? No one stays at Paratek b/c it's a toxic culture and environment. If you absolutely need a job and take one here, don't stop looking. This is nothing more than a placeholder. I promise, this will be your worst job ever.

I agree. If you miss their crazy high quotas by the slightest of margins twice you will be put on a plan and you will never get off it. The culture is good when you’re hitting goals but you might as well be a leper if you don’t! You will get little to no support from management! This is the worst place you could work in pharma if you are looking for a good supportive culture and a stable situation!

Have a phone screen for a prim care/infectious disease/podiatry position…assuming this is the “primary care” vs hosp.
Based off of most comments here, is it even worth a phone screen? I have over 15 years in pharma. Due to layoff in big pharma , currently in a crappy contract role.
Maybe I should ask up front the base salary and if nothing to be exited abt, politely end the screen.
Any thoughts? Run?

Is this opportunity really that bad? Sounds like it’s bleak.
Have a zoom interview this week too.
Sounds like I need to cancel. Another start up with low base salary, no chance to bonus Im assuming, with no managed care? Sounds like a 6 month contract job.

Interviewing this week as well. I’m trying to figure out if it’s a good opportunity, but so far I haven’t had a great feeling about it.
 








I would run unless you love insane quotas, bad managed care, frequent manager ride-alongs, constant zoom calls, and being treated like this is your first pharma job! Outside of that, I guess it could be a decent paycheck until you find something better! I’m just glad that I actually did. Bye Bye Paratek!

You must be on medicated this morning. I don’t think he would be getting an offer for 140 K under any circumstances. Especially a start up company. That’s funny!
