Don't be misled. The posters who use profanity and who are flame throwers on CP boards are not employed in this industry, nor in any professional capacity. It is not possible that there are that many college-educated, adult people who would represent themselves in this manner. Even in an anonymous setting. I won't be convinced otherwise.

just seems odd the manager I f2f with says he will have no say in the final decision. He will be at the mercy of the panel and their assessment of the interview...anyone heard this after the f2f?

No. I was told that if you don't score at or above acceptable levels at panels then manager has no say. If you score at acceptable level then manager can choose between candidates in the hunt.

Essentially, the panels make a recomendation. The manager can override. Yet, anything consequence from the hire is on the manager. This is asking a lot for managers that were just hired in Jan.

So, think about how successful a sales force is based on a 2 hour interview with people who don't know anything about this market. Food for thought.

Yes teenagers totally hang out here; those turds. Nothing else to do these days. I am curious what your sales call sounds like. I had panels last week. I am a female who is ready to roar. My dress was a little tight but not like those turdy teenage ones. I hope to get my offer this week, well after the national sales meeting going on, of course. I needed another venue to wear my tight dress.

So is the west manager the guy from Sunovion (dJ) or the gal? Is that director over az & lv? My ol' friendo said the male was spaekly, smiley & kool as in koolaid, but he is norhwest. That where my friend lives. They have a lot of wineries up there so maybe grape koolaid. Who needs a car when u have that kind of fuel. Aren't we all yes people? We are in sales peeps, Easter peeps.
