Same call this morning. P1 left a message saying they will call me when they make a final decision, and I am still in the running. I agree with others....just tell me if I am on deck. It would be better than this waiting and wondering. I had my blood pressure checked today just to make sure....

I got that same call yesterday. I asked when I would hear back and then said once the final decision is made.

To all out there that have received recent calls from P1 that you are still being considered. Then you really need to believe that you are still being considered. I know of two people myself that received calls calls from P1 last week that they went with other candidates and it was a flat-out no. No news at this point is good news. Sounds like worst case scenario, you weren't the number one pick, but perhaps the first candidate is not going to work out. Some managers were still interviewing last week and maybe still strategically trying to figure out what would be the best mix for their team. Good luck and try not to worry. If you don't get this job, then it just simply means something better for you will come along.

Well, in many cases they said the week of May 23 so you could get a call Thursday or Friday

This whole process shows a lack of direction and leadership. Dragging this process out and making people wait week after week doesn't say a whole lot about the company. I can't imagine how slow they would be on a drug launch. Maybe next year you'll get your first sales aid.

If you don't hear anything by Friday afternoon around 2pm, then I you need to reach out to the hiring manager. They would at least owe you that much. People will be very hard to reach after that time with the upcoming holiday and you deserve to know something. I thought all the hiring would be completed by Friday at the latest but maybe that has changed. However, you should call Friday afternoon as they specifically told everyone all decisions would be made this week. I'm sorry for your frustrations. If it doesn't work out, something better will come along.

Well, I finally received my call letting me know that they are moving forward with another candidate. No call from the hiring manager; just P1 and no feedback or insight for me as to what I might do better in future interviews, which is disappointing after being in this process for almost 3 months. At least I finally know and I can stop obsessing about when I will hear something. Good luck and congratulations to a the new hires!
