Over 55 only

Such a childish comment.
re: "Have you considered a little bingo, bango, bongo?"

I interpreted "bingo, bango, bongo" to be sexual (nothing childish about that)....and I was simply pointing out that you may not be "bingo, bango, bongo material".....i.e., you may be over the hill, bald, and too much of a geek:) I was just having a good time with this! Don't lose your sense of humor in old age:)

Your interpretation was right on the money! Of course, it could have referred to the friendly golf game with a little wager of money on the side. In any case, if you're physically able, an opportunity for a little bingo, bango, bongo should never be passed up, Geek Squad employee or not!!

With Propecia available at a discount and Proscar free under the health plan. No Merck employee should be bald. :) May be a pair of geeky eyeglasses will help. There will be customers that appreciate the 55+ Geek Squad. You may know nothing but age can convey a sense of confidence. Or you should be able to BS while reformatting the customer's hard drive and charge him/her a fortune. :)

Propecia only works 1/3 of the time, if that. The other 2/3 will be bald.

And don't forget our healthplan's coverage of Levitra at no cost if you need a little help with putting er bingo bango bongo....thank you thank you mother.

Thank you. How do we end up getting full coverage for a lifestyle drug? I checked and 36 tablets for 3 months for free. 12 bingo bango bongo each month. 3 bingo bango bongo for each week. I will be asking my family physician to prescribe it. Why is Mother so generous? May be we are so stressed out and depressed that we all have to rely on Levitra?

It is humorous. Unfortunately 36 tablets would probably last 12 years for me.

I think, going back to the original topic, that Merck reps, current or ex that are over 55 are not lacking in intelligence. Perhaps if it is NOT wise to go back into another stressful occupation. Perhaps choose something more relaxing even if the pay is less is the way to go. Merck has damaged a lot of the reps. I know people are still looking for decent jobs several years after being laid off. I know people have panic attacks after a horrendous PIP. Would something like insurance sales, teaching or other more low stress jobs more suitable as a new career choice? I also know someone who is still wanting to get back into pharma sales because of the "good money" knowing what it was, what it is now, and what it will continue to evolve into.

Less stress is what I want, but the cost of living were I live dictates making a very good salary. Salary is the thing and the better the salary the more the stress. If anyone knows what pays enough to pay all the bills and property tax and is still low stress then let us know.

Any ideas on starting your own business? and what kind of business? I'd like to hear thoughts on this and from people who actually started their own businesses and what did they do? Maybe we can all get together and start a medical THC business. We are Pharma reps after all
as long as it's legal why not. Any other thoughts?

I can think of lots of fun jobs that have little stress, but it all boils down to not enough money. We live in surburban NE and its high cost, high tax everything. We had a family discussion recently and tossed around the idea of going somewhere west or south. Better life for a lot less.

You really should consider moving to suburban NE as in NEBRASKA. Omaha actually is a very nice city, good economic conditions, low cost of living, excellent healthcare, and a university with a pretty good football team just about 40 mininutes west. Warren Buffet seems to have done ok for himself by residing there and we all know he could live anywhere, but chooses to be in Omaha a majority of the time. Give it some thought.

55+ here. If I got 36 free tablets of Levitra, you can be damn sure that 35 of them would go past the expiration date. Might have better luck if you threw in a jar of Premarin wrinkle cream for the old ball and chain.

Well guys you are not alone. My husband has not been up to it for 15 yrs!!!! I am 57. Thats a long time without. Had to get a guy on the side after awhile. What else could I do???

Put homemade ground up Levitra in his breakfast cereal, lunch, dinner, cocktail drinks. toothpaste, and whatever. You get 36 tablets free every 3 months anyway. :)
