OSS reps gone after Q3

Using OSS reps to get last sales out of third quarter. They don't care if you bought a car or not. More than 90% of OSS reps and managers will be laid off the end of June and the rest will be absorbed in the Acute Care Pain Hospital Team.
 
















































I call BS. That's over 50 reps, and if you lay off 50 or greater, they have to issue a WARN notice 90 days prior.

It coming, it's just not all of us.

I'm sorry, but I have never heard of such a thing and have worked for a handful of companies that had very large layoffs with no notice whatsoever. It always was the afternoon before with an email or phone call saying to stay home the next day and you would receive a telephone call one way or the other. Pharmaceutical companies always lay off with no notice as they want everyone working up to the last minute before they drop the boom.

Please give one reason why they would keep all these reps for one drug? That was never their long term intention. Xartemis is out the window and there are just too many reps out there. They originally thought by adding the OSS sales force to OFIRMEV, SALES WOULD GREATLY INCREASE AND THAT HASNT HAPPENED AT ALL. Far too many salaries to justify.
 












Mass Layoff: A covered employer must give notice if there is to be a mass layoff which does not result from a plant closing, but which will result in an employment loss at the employment site during any 30-day period for 500 or more employees, or for 50-499 employees if they make up at least 33% of the employer's active workforce. Again, this does not count employees who have worked less than 6 months in the last 12 months or employees who work an average of less than 20 hours a week for that employer. These latter groups, however, are entitled to notice (discussed later).

Well, the OSS side just recieved info on Q3 SICP. So does that mean we need to work our tails off for a Q3 payout they we're NOT going to recieve if these layoffs happen in June? I think the Op is blowing smoke up our asses regarding that June timeline.

So this means the company is dangling that SICP then letting reps go at the end of the quarter without paying out a single cent? 3rd quarter payout is late August. But going with the rumors here, there will be no OSS left to pay out. Shady shady shady.

LMAO!!!! Yeah keep on slinging that bs. The criteria is that you're eligible for qtr bonus as long as you're actively employed the entire quarter and are STILL employed at the time of the bonus payout. They're not going to move mountains just to get you your payout 2 months early.
