It's going to be tough to hit quotas this year. The real competition is the generic products that do a similar job as the stuff we carry in the bag. All the coupons in the world can't compete against the cost and formulary availability of generics. And let's face it: if B+L's pharma products disappeared overnight no doctor would shed a tear. We're not saving lives here and B+L branded products are like comparing a Mercedes to a Honda...both do the same exact job but one costs more and has a few more bells and whistles. Good luck to all of us this year.

Left for a company who offered him a CEO position-not in eyecare-dental maybe? Was told it really had nothing to do with buy out but the opportunity came knocking and CEO positions are not thrown at you every day-a move up for him. Company was not named, but press releases will be made soon (days) by said company making announcement of his hire.

Managed markets is a joke. Marketing has nothing to offer. Massive changes are happening in the marketplace and nothing useful or helpful comes from corporate. Alc_n has been ready for this moment and they are pouncing at every level of the business. You need to grab control and change our course or our fate is sealed.

I'm sure you don't read this CP stuff, me neither really. I hope someone shows you this and you realize it's not from someone who is bitching or trying to screw B&L. It's from someone who once believed in this company and is horrified at its pending demise.

Apparently the Valeant team is at the Rochester Zoo right now trying to decide if a lemur or a capuchin monkey can be used as a stand-in for DW. With the right tie most people will never be able to tell the difference.
 
























Unbelievable!!! Cafepharma comes through again. I thought the message about Dan leaving for fake and garbage but it is real and posted a week before the announcement. Unreal.
