Oncology Marketing

No one in oncology has access. None of them do much of anything. Overpaid. Sad waste of money. It’s that secret no one talks about.

So says a current or former primary care rep who just delivers samples. For those of us with relationships and advanced degrees it’s different. Sorry, but, most of you street piggies really shouldn’t be in this specialty, you’re not qualified. Delivering coffee, snacks, and samples for you dumb PC reps is all that you can offer.

THE TRUTH IS - Lilly is just too Big Pharma! Just like Merck and Pfizer, they’re ruining oncology.

Problem with Lilly is too many undergrad primary care people in Oncology marketing, leadership, sales.

That’s why Jake from Loxo, a real biotech company, is trying to fix this metric minded bunch.

Not a Pc rep or in the OBU at this time. This division had gone downhill the past few years. Poor leadership.. unattainable metrics and old time reps who get stressed because they can’t meet them. Newer reps act busy but do nothing, it’s an overpaid sales force. Several leaving in the past few days for other companies and others getting out of sales roles. Used to be a great division. Not anymore… inexperience and pretend work.

If you’re not here, wtf do you know! Sure there’s metrics, go to work.

Who left?

The only people I know who left Lilly recently, IMO were some good ones who hit their points with age and time employed. Then took their pensions and now are working at other companies double banking their new paycheck plus their Lilly pension. Not too bad I think.

By the way, there are always a few reps who are seeing customers. Sorry for your struggling, ask around, we’ve got resources to improve your access and people who can help show you oncology.

Ditto… agree with you. As for ‘the whiner’ pull your panties, get some help, and get to work. Regarding the OBU, love it or leave it snowflake.

LOXO @ Lilly, not quite sure what to think? Academic customers definitely know LOXO.

After some good stable years, lot of senior leadership changes underway. New guy isn’t as approachable as Eric, seems kind of ghetto.
