Unfortunately, the CafePharma Vivus board has been infiltrated by a lot of short sellers who are currently shorting Vivus stock.

They have absolutely no interest in a job with Vivus, and are only here to spread rumors, fear and misinformation. They are not really a candidate for any job with Vivus. Their only objective here is to create fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD). They are only pretending that they have been interviewed for job, offered a job, or they turned down an offer.

I would ignore any person who is not posting questions or information about job opportunities with Vivus.

You really wasted your time to post this nonsense. We are job seekers and some of us with interviews. Dah.
 






A contract? That means NOTHING. And if it did apply, it seems like there were favorites. Shoe ins that got 85k or better. That's an even playing field with balanced opportunity as I was told when I accepted the job at 70k?!
 


















What factors caused you to reisign? So far there have been a few blips, but no major red flags....

The major red flag is that you are an employee of PDI not Vivus. There will never be a rollover for this contract, if this is a successful product a big pharma company will buy Vivus and if the drug flops (most likely to happen) then Vivus will be out of $ in a year so you will be looking for a job this time next year regardless. Understand what the industry has become and accept the fact that you are a temp worker, nothing more.

I agree. Poster is lying. Anyone who went through the interview process knew this was a contract with PDI. This would not be a surprise or a "red flag". This website could be a great resource if people weren't so deceitful.
 






I agree. My manager said that the contract allows vivus to hire after a year. if the comp plan is fair and allows me to make $$ - I have no problem with the gig. The product will be fun to sell - god knows I have sold worse...

Oh, well if your manager said it then it must be so. You have a one year job regardless of how this product does so don't live in denial about what this contract is. Vivus had the capital to hire 150 reps but they went with PDI for a reason so understand what is going on and get you head out of your ass.

Hilarious. My manager said...all incompetent, formerly terminated, clueless people. God help them. With emphasis on the ones who work for CH. Psychiatric evaluation stat!!!
