Because I appreciated the information I got off of here. Cafe Pharma could actually be something positive if people like you stayed off of it.

Agreed the four managers that I met last week came from downsized companies - didn't volunteer but from Novartis, Takeda etc. The two that directly interviewed me didn't have any metabolic experience even!

I had my RD interview in Charlotte last Tuesday. I thought it went well, but I haven't heard a thing back yet. I called the recruiter and she said they are still making final decisions. Has anyone in SC received an offer yet?

The people at PDI are full of shit. I was at the final interviews and I over heard the PDI person and a Vivus manger talking about going ahead with the 3 people that were there and they would get the person the manger wanted to hire there the next day. Total waste of time for the 3 reps who were there, none of them had a chance!

Yes. First offer was declined by rep

Second offer went out to a different person and was accepted... At least that is what I heard.

I don't know rep that was given second offer after initial offer was declined so not 100% sure it was accepted either... But from what I heard it was

All you have to do is check the PDI website and see if Greenville is still listed, they are removing the jobs once a position is accepted.

I feel your frustration, I also meet with the RD at another site and was all but told an offer would be coming my way and I have heard nothing since. I emailed the hiring manger and all I was told was they had until Aug 9. Not sure why managers in this industry have always been afraid to tell people they are going with another candidate?

Have you emailed the Pdi person that set up your final interview?

The offers are coming from Pdi so get in touch with them.

No its not showing up. In fact I can't find a single pdi/vivus job on the career board. So either I'm not looking in the right place or I have no idea if the job is still available or not. I'm going to call again on Monday.

You're not looking in the right place. There are over 100 jobs posted on the PDI website, including the Greenville/Spartanburg territory. Just go to Careers, click on the location, and it will pop up. I just did it. I think you should give it a day or 2, offers don't have to be out until the 9th or 10th. The job is probably yours.
