Offers/Salary/Benefits for Janssen

It's been a week today since i met with the regional and got a verbal offer from the hiring manager and I've heard absolutely nothing since Newark. Should I be worried? I emailed my recruiter and no answer. Doesn't look good does it? I wonder what could have changed in a week? Background check and drug test should be fine. Go figure.

Just not professional. Why have a candidate go forward and then wait? I am the third one on this site to have encountered this wait period only to be passed over. I take this as a true prediction of how this contract will be conducted in both the short and not so long term. Buyer beware.

I also met with the Regional Manager and he told me he was sorry about what happened with the GSK contract and he was glad I interviewed for the Janssen contract. Then gave me a verbal offer, saying he wanted to bring me back and ending with a handshake. Earlier this week I get a call saying the offer went to another candidate. There's nothing in my background or drug test that would have kept me from getting the job. This was poor planning and jerking people around.

5th person writing in here who was kept on ice for 2 weeks. Interviewed in Newark week of 5/15 and RBD authorized me for hire. DM and RBD asked if I was open to other territories since the territories are all near each other. They also explained the 3 different rep levels they are brining in to each territory with the $$ allocated.. DM and RBD said offer could not be extended until they interviewed ALL candidates and configured the placements. This Tuesday I get an email saying they ended up having to configure with fewer than originally planned. The people I know who did get offers were all from the AZ Publicis contract. Looks like they had
70-80 percent of these slots already determined before any of us got to Newark and they wanted to show off to Janssen displaying how many they can get in to Newark. They spent over 2 weeks in Newark claiming to vet 300 possibly 500 representatives. At the end of the day, I doubt the final number hired was anywhere near that. Buyer Beware - you can't believe anything they tell you..
