Offers/Salary/Benefits for Janssen

If so many people are turning down these low ball offers, will this contract start in a week? Or will they just move forward w/ the people who did accept and train them and then move the unfilled positions into a 2nd wave?

I would think if someone turned the offer down, there was a "runner up" for the position who may get the call. There won't be second wave as there probably weren't that many that turned down the low ball offers

They have plenty of talented reps beating on their doors looking to take any offer (that's why there is no real hard negotiations-market is crammed packed with plenty of reps)...

Offered 70k and live in the central US. It was experienced based.

Each manager had a pool of money to work with for salaries. The low ball amount was 56-60. With experienced reps maxing out at 70. The amount depended on how many low and high reps they had. If a DBM interviewed 3 ppl with 0-5 yrs experience for a job then he knew that was a 56. That gave the DBM more money for others. What happened is some got their districts switched at the last minute and they thought they were going to have let's say 6 low guys but ended up with the change only 3 low guys. Only had so much money to give. I overheard a DBM having this discussion two weeks ago at the interview blitz. Hope that clears some of the confusion.

That makes sense and that is what I was told as well about the pool.

Thank you all for the information. Has any other details surfaced? How long is the contract? Are they ordering new company cars because it is an expansion or tracking down old ones? Do they provide the reps with a cell phone? Any information would be helpful. Thanks

You dont ask for much do you? Gotta be a woman. Want your DMs DlCK size too? Jeez

Q: Has any other details surfaced?
A: All interviews took place. Offers have been extended. Some are still trickling in. Contract start date in one week - June 3.

Q: How long is the contract?
A: 2 years.. Some say 3 years. Depends on who you are talking to.

Q: Are they ordering new company cars because it is an expansion or tracking down old ones?
A: Cars are still up in the air. No solid answer has been given on whether fleet vehicles are given or car allowance.

Q: Do they provide the reps with a cell phone?
A: you expense internet and cell every month on concur. Submit a PDF of your bills. Usually the cell is reimbursed $80-$100 and internet is another $30-$50 depending on contract stipulations.

Don't pay attention to the zero who replied. The Grecian Gray #3 hair dye must have triggered his anger mechanism.. Gotta feel sorry for men who look at women like that in this industry.. Let him tend to his petty job at Enterprise or hocking cheap suits.

I was told June 13th for start date. Has it changed to June 3? Also, offer letter does say company car.

How could offers be in yet not indicate if theres a company car? That would be part of the compensation. Think you are wrong and have misinformation young lady

June 13th is the start date. Yes company cars but they do not know what kind yet as they are working out the details to see if they are going to give the same vehicle as Janssen gives or if they are going to go with their own fleet. The above poster is correct on the way that they salary was given out. With a market full of reps who have been misplaced there is not much wiggle room to ask for more money. Its based on experience, and how many reps in that territory have that experience. They do have other reps in line if the first choice decides not to take the position, but with so many reps out there looking, I have not heard of that many turning down the position. June 13th start date, July 7th training (which could be regionalized or one big group)

So has anyone that was in Newark last week got an offer in writing yet? If so how did it come? Mail? Email? I agreed verbally last week and haven't heard a word from anyone inventiv since last Wednesday. Getting a little scared. Thanks in advance.

If you made it to a f2f with the RBD your recruiter should tell you via email and ask if the RBD authorized you for hire. Some offers are still trickling in as some people rejected the low ball. Email your recruiter and ask your status.

You can call Sterling and ask for your status. You can ask them if everything was handed off to Inventiv and they will tell you.. Most likely if there was a hold-up Sterling would immediately reach out to you and tell what they need. Sterling's background check calling former employers, getting college degrees takes a few days.. Even though the RBD says you are good to hire doesn't mean offers are coming as they overestimated the head count needed.
