Exactly. They aren’t going to buy plane tickets and hotel rooms for all of us, then lay us off the week after the meeting. They might announce a coming reorg shortly after the meeting, as they did last time.
Would they repeat the Dallas debacle? In Dallas everyone wanted to know about layoffs the entire time, and they tried to pretend it was business as usual, getting booed off the stage because we all knew they were lying to us.
Agree. Late spring, summer at very earliest. That will be far enough away from a January rah rah, Novartis is the place to be meeting.
