OMG about the warn notice already… other poster correct. Novartis will announce the layoff but keep us employed for the 90 day warn notice you dolts. That way they are complying with warn act etc. So to lay it out for those that find this hard to comprehend. Ex. Novartis tells us we are being reduced. Then they file the warn notice. We are still on the payroll for 90 days plus as Novartis employees before the severance kicks in = Warn Act compliance.
What nobody can seem to answer is what the Novartis severance is. Is it 3 months WARN plus 2 weeks for every YOS, or is it 90 days WARN plus severance of 3 months and 2 weeks for every YOS? That’s the part no one seems to answer.

The day they tell you you have 90 days. Then they give you 2 weeks for every year plus any unused vacation.
 




Im sure It will be similar to the xolair reps as far as notice. They were given more than 90 days before the severance kicks in. As far as weeks per year. In past they have given a minimum of 16 weeks. Escalates from there if have been here longer but dont know if 0-3 years gets 16 weeks or if the # of years is higher than that. We will find out soon.

When they dumped the PCP sales force they got 3 months of garden time. then 16 weeks of severance pay. Plus 100% of first bonus check then 75% on next bonus check. No idea if they will do the same
 








Yes, we will be under Novartis Pharma. Whoever the Novartis Group people are, they were told months ago and then the warn act posted which complies because were still employed for the required 90 days.

There are not a lot of jobs out there and many of the same jobs stay posted for a while for some reason. I got another job making more money without the nonsense and headache of leqvio. Rest your mind about the money as it is a large amount. Just spend your time daily as soon as you are told sending resumes. Within a month I had 10 companies in the works with interviews. Average time it takes to find a job is 4 months. The severance will cover you much longer and leave you with money in the bank. I was happy to be laid off and away from my boss.

Quick question: at your new company, have they given away your product for free for a year and given double-credit for every free unit of product given away?
If so, did it work any better over there than it did here?
 




reps can’t fix the Novartis problems as it comes from leadership. Leadership has zero interest in solutions presented by reps. In my area reps were forced to only promote buy and bill and not injection centers. This has been a disaster as office staff does not have a sense of urgency and the orders sit. The micromanaging of Novartis has ruined Leqvio from being successful. My manager managed like a primary care manager. Happy to be gone and starting a new job. Severance was worth not worrying about being laid off. Just be diligent with resume when layoff happens. Update resume now and it will pay off financially. You can’t fix leaders (term used loosely) who think their way is the only way.
