Interesting and what a relief. I’ve never worked for an organization whose employees have such much disdain and contempt towards the leaders.
They're untrustworthy, and they always have been. They are 100% in it for themselves, and they take care of each other at our expense.
In what reasonably functional organization would Duane and Sherita still have jobs? In 90% of organizations they would quit on their own because they would be too ashamed to stay.
They still refuse to concede that they're even partially to blame for Leqvio, and they still refuse to pay people in a fair and industry-standard manner.
They have no answer for the loss of Entresto and they know it. They're terrified, and their already awful judgement has been further compromised.
 
















There is no warn notice for October
How many times do people need this explained to them? They can give us no notice for a layoff annoucement, but still be complient with WARN. If they decided to lay us off in October, they would do it. And then our "official" end dates wouldn't be for 60 days. This literally just happened with the Xolair reps.

It didn’t actually because there was a notice in Warn in June for the actual number of Xolair.

Really! What notification was given to the Xolair team in June? I don’t think there was any type of official communication. The reps just went through a mini re-training for food allergy last month and then all of them let go. Warn notice happened when they were notified via WebEx call. That’s why they are in the field until sometime in November. They remain on payroll and eligible to apply for any internal positions until sometime in Feb. and then separated from the company. What was done to them was awful but at least they have a good amount of time to find something else either internally or externally and then severance on top of that. Have to give the company some credit there. I have a good friend in the nutrition industry who lost her job and she got one month severance and the managers had

Absolutely true. When they do the announcement, that is when they inform
the state of NJ of the impending lay-offs and those numbers are then reflected on the site. Novartis has been playing this game a long time.

Their are multiple WARN notices for Novartis listed under a variety of sub company names. The June 2024 Warn notice wasn't for field sales in pharmaceuticals, it was under Novartis Group. I believe that when our NJ Warn notice comes with the notification to reps of CV layoffs, it will be under Novartis Pharmaceuticals. This is how it was done last May to the layoffs to CV division.

Seriously where does one find the “warn notice”. Are we supposed to just search on a daily basis to see if something is going to happen and if so where do you look? Newer to industry and looking for information
 








OMG about the warn notice already… other poster correct. Novartis will announce the layoff but keep us employed for the 90 day warn notice you dolts. That way they are complying with warn act etc. So to lay it out for those that find this hard to comprehend. Ex. Novartis tells us we are being reduced. Then they file the warn notice. We are still on the payroll for 90 days plus as Novartis employees before the severance kicks in = Warn Act compliance.
