October 30th Conf Call

Inside scoop but you didn't hear it from me: Alex Azar will announce that everything is great and to continue our focus on providing answers that matter l.

Sure, I remember when Alex was hired, the corporate PR spin was that he is a real New England blue blood with a lineage all the way back to the Mayflower. Right?

No scoop but let us all think what good will come of this call. Basically they have told us over and over we can not lose Cym and Evista and keep going as we have. Becki M. said it best -we will go from 7 Bil in 2013 to 3 Bil in 2014. WHO will go???

I was told by my manager and director that we will probably have no job loss. FDE will be let go at end of contract- Axiron, Cialis, Amyvid, and Effient are all taking off and will require a sales force restructuring to ensure that all targeted physicians are called upon. We will just be shifting the best resources (us- the sales reps) to products that are growing and need more representation.

We have also had normal attrition over the last year and we haven't been back filling those roles. We have plenty of opportunity and are sitting much better then our peers at other pharmaceutical companies. Be proud that we have such a great management team that is able to ride the storm without layoffs! And walk and talk with swagger knowing that the products we do promote are truly best in class medicines and because of this it offers us many opportunities to partner with our physicians to ensure better patient outcomes.

Some people in this company are freaking out and look at the immediate future as doom and gloom. I (along with many others!) look at this as an incredible opportunity to grow and lead our current portfolio of great products while waiting for the next round to come-who isn't excited about our Alzheimer drug- I know I am!!! Trust me you will want to be around when that product launches in the next 5 years- talk about life changing and creating better patient outcomes in a potential 10 billion dollar a year market!!! That is the type of stuff that should drive you and get you up in the morning.

The so-called Alz drug (antibody) is a farce, and it too will fall out of development very soon (if it hasn't already).

You must live under a rock-

Do some research before you say such stupid things. You obviously know nothing and probably don't even work here. Jealous that we work for a company that is set up to become one of the largest Pharmaceutical companies in the world- and we do it with patients in mind not profit. Now beat it you troll!

Give us a break. Which floor of Corporate PR do you work on?

If this company spent half as much on scientists as it does on HR, lawyers and PR, yes, it could be one of the largest companies in the world, long after you retire in more ways than one (these things take a couple decades at least to undo the damage)

You are a moron-of course we will have layoffs-did you read the top 10 questions from John's call. Many of us will still have jobs -just depends where you live/access and FDE's. You believe your manager and director???
