Mike and John care about culture. They come from companies that care about their employees, care about culture, care about their people, family, and if they are burnt out ( like almost everyone in the OBU). KK and PS don't give a shit about any of this. All KK cared about was reach and frequency and how many samples you left....WHAT A JOKE.
We are moving in to bigger and better things people, get on board or get lost!

Let's be frank, Mike & John aren't the brightest guys in pharma. Why would they leave a good gig to come to a company that is divesting businesses (i.e., NBU) and will than be readily available for for a bigger pharma to purchase (remember Abbvie!). The jeans are all smoke and mirrors. Only sophomoric reps think it represents a culture change - - - OMG, we get to wear jeans! What a JOKE! Mike and John take your jeans and shove them where the sun don't shine!

Does it rep a culture change entirely, NO. However it does show things are leaning that way, just like the communication, the response to the lack of communication in the past mo. The response to the idiotic monthly contests, the response to the late bonus checks. It's better than what PS has given which is NOTHING!
You don't follow industry news do you? While their previous companies are great they are also on a downturn with MULTIPLE products facing biosimilars, new molecules that failed to meet PE and won't get approved. So once again, will things magically change overnight? No. Are jeans the answer, no. Is it a start? Yes!

Thanks KK, hopefully you've had some time to hit the gym and attend your bi-daily psychiatric treatment. It's hard for you to understand tha AZ isn't a good thing and Genentech has an end of life 2nd best retina drug, hardly the pinnacle of pharma. Nice try. Jeans are a nice gesture and a good start from the days of Saturday and Sunday meetings and micro managing. I don't see Mike sending 3 am action item emails or better yet, a Kathy corner update concerning a .1 call per day dip on Fridays.

Omg that was horrible...meetings on Saturday and Sunday WHO THE FUCK DOES THAT, wearing business casual when everyone else was wearing jeans so we would "stick out". Endless fire drills, constant conference calls, the condescending tone to everything she said and the call dip in Fridays WAS HILARIOUS!!! So glad that shit is over and gone.
I do however have to disagree with your analysis of AZ and Genentech...

Seriously, If she is there, the question needs to be asked why? What purpose does she serve. Even if she presents anything of questionable value she should fly in that morning, say her bullshit and then leave on thr next (broom) plane.
