A little early for this amount of HATE.

Just FYI.....the players are kneeling to bring attention to Police Brutality. That is all. Has nothing to do with disrespecting our armed forces. The flag stands for many things. Not just one thing.

They are kneeling for the National Anthem. I must have missed the part of that song that pertains to local law enforcement. Not that they deserve that either. We all stand as a gesture of respect. Much the way a gentleman naturally opens the door for a lady. But it is not enough for them to choose not to stand. They are compelled to make the opposite gesture and kneel, to show disrespect to our nation, to those who are standing for it and to their employer who pays them to represent their organization. In the end, the NY Giants chose to allow them to kneel at this time, while on the clock for them. I now choose not to support them and hopefully Quest Diagnostics will make the same choice. Yes. A free country (for all), worthy of respect, in my view. You can behave in a disgraceful manner, decent people don’t have to support it and we all get to speak our opinions about that. Hope this helps.
 






We should support free speech. As long as it is not hate speech. Period.
This is America.
We don't have to like it, but we should respect their right to do it.
Their employers can punish if needed. That is private.

I will not support or respect those who speak contrary to my values. That is very different from defending free speech and you are no defender of free speech if you are not willing to defend the right to hate speech.

The NFL players who are making offensive, misguided and inappropriate statements while being compensated indirectly by the fans and directly by the NFL should be punished by both, monetarily. They are paid to play a game by the fans and to represent their employer. No one wants to hear their stupid opinions. We should not pay for it and Quest Diagnostics should not allign themselves with their views. Hope this helps.

I would counter by stating that Police Brutality, against minorities, is a bigger DIS.
Our country is strong. We can deal with a few athletes kneeling in silent protest.
We arent snowflakes.

You can dump on the United States each and every day for whatever reason you want on your own time, son, and no one will stop you. Just don’t expect to have many friends and do plan on a lot of harsh words and attitude coming back at you. And if you care so much about management issues at your police department, try voting in your local elections or take it up with your city council. And while you are at, try studying again for your GED, and pay attention to the chapter on civics. Unless you are gifted in sports and can afford to go through life without ever thinking,

A few? Even the stupid cheerleaders are doing it now and for reasons they know nothing about.
Listen, I’m against police brutality as well. But there should be and are other ways to protest against that. Not during our anthem to the best country in the world. Putting a knee down at that time is very disrespectful for all who fought for and died to make our country what it is today. Its that simple. Sorry but we will agree to disagree on this one. So down with the NFL!

haven't seen many taking a knee this year. Players association and the NFL have an agreement for donations to inner city programs in return for the players no longer kneeling.

Having the right to say something does not absolve you from the consequences of saying it and the response from those who you speak to. The kneeling players are a disgrace on many levels, but your stupidity is perhaps even worse. Hope this helps,
