All of their ICU beds are full. How sad would it be to get stuck in Tennessee and not even have your family close by when you’re sick. I can’t imagine.

They will want us to social distance and wear masks like they are at the Manager’s Meeting now. How is that feasible with hundreds of people walking through the same doorways, having meals, sitting in a room all day etc.

Those of us at the Manager’s Meeting are hoping they will announce NSM is virtual before we leave here. This is causing too much stress and distraction.

BUT what happened to a Covid test 3 days before, then 2 days before, then one day before, then day of arrival then day after arrival and day before departure?

I was told that those 72hr before/after Covid Tests are on the honor system for the NSM. We don’t have to show any proof of either.

they probably don’t want to have to quarantine in their room for ten days. Avanir should not be having live meetings under these circumstances. We have to put too much faith in our peers. Yet, I’d also want to be able to get home if I tested positive and wasn’t showing symptoms so I get it.

That’s exactly the story, and will be the same situation in Nashville for the NSM. Except boarding a place with known Covid is actually very serious. You can be traced back. So be prepared to be in the Hotel an extra 10 days and a new fight food etc.

There has to be a plan on place for those employees that become symptomatic or learn they are positive while at the meeting. There needs to be complete isolation and then all those individuals that were in contact with will need to be quarantined. There could be people there for 2,weeks and company must pay the entire bill as it was required attendance.
