Novocure

He was the CDO…what other experience would you like him to have? If it’s sales, then you’re completely sleeping on him.

we can start with how to effectively communicate and motivate. He can’t string 2 sentences without fumbling. can’t make decisions. From what I’ve heard he was pretty much the same in the last role. What exactly has he delivered?

Can anyone who currently works at Novocure comment on what it's like to work for the company? A recruiter contacted me about a job. I had never heard of the company prior to the call. Any help would be great.

Did you take the job. I did in Jan 2015 and the equity package plus stock savings plan and the fact that the stock will soar when the NSCLC indication comes.

The bad: too many people for a company that really only has brain tumor revenue right now. TLL’s and Territory Managers are mortal enemies as the TLL’s bring no value, get all the new sales pieces, bring little to no value for an existing nature indication, but are treated by upper management as if they are the elite out in the field.

I left over a year ago specifically bc we had zero no new sales pieces for 3 years; the TLL’s have 6-7 and as a TM you will have to schedule their calls for them and let them speak to their slides. My TLL and Senior TLL were/are the worst Pete doesn’t work Sarah is gone but up north the TLL is good so that’s 1 out of 3 who get their presentations to customers.

RBL’s are great. Culture is great on the sales side and the TLL’s have the best job ever while doing nothing and receiving all of the praise. If you can put up w that Novocure is a great company that pats for talent.

I was hoping FL leaving would have been part of the announcements. He is a terrible leader with zero experience. What will come of the US team?

Dipsh**t Frank L was is a pivotal part of why Novocure succeeded. He looks young but have you spoken to him? Seeing as he’s an original source of funding I’m sure he’s very happy with what he did at Novocure. Unbelievably he’s the nicest guy ever and brilliant

This is complete BS, sorry. Sales did not have to make appts for TLL's, they made their own appts. There may have been a few times here or there. Sales were complete jerks, asking to be CC'd on every email but they of course never CC'd the TLL on anything. TLL's were left out of many meetings, sales thought they owned the accounts, "my account" lol. The sales at Novocure were so rude and territorial and go off label constantly. The RSM's did nothing to facilitate collaboration either. By the way they no longer have TLL's, thanks to sales pushing them out. Probably not a bad decision, there was just too much competition and drama and it was bad for the company, likely why sales were shit. I am very surprised that this company is not on a CIA by the FDA, lots of shady stuff goes on there.

oh brother. He’s not the original funding source. Get your facts straight. He’s been riding Doyle’s coattails for his entire adult life. He is nice for sure. Nice does not make your a strong visionary leader. I like him a lot as a person and genuinely believe he wants the team to succeed. He’s just not the leader this company needs for the explosive growth that’s coming. That’s a fact that you will realize only in hindsight.

The daily rx count is good because of the lung news. We dropped off the PR which generated some interest. Having medical sell the product also helps. They are finally on the team and responsible for selling. Frank has made it clear that everyone’s job is to sell more product. This definitely helps. I am close to hitting my goal and we’re not even at the end of Feb. Hope this stays as is so mama can continue to bank bonus!!!!

This has to be a joke. Do you know how prevalent NSCLC is? Sounds like a ship that’s getting stronger (slowly albeit)
here's the thing folks, the data might look positive but if you can't get the skin issues under control and MD's on board to prescribe, NO ONE will use any TTF product. It is too cumbersome for the relatively small benefit for GBM. Skin issues on the trunk in pipeline studies were very bad and no one could agree on how to manage them. Oncologists want to make money off therapies and TTF is not a money maker. (not right I know but its the facts)

Medical should NEVER be responsible for selling! This is why so many MSL's left the company. Novocure was not very good at keeping the firewall strong between sales and medical. Medical is responsible for communicating the science, assisting with ISS, and delivering actionable medical insights. I hope you are saving your bonus money because you will soon be in an orange jumpsuit at this company. Medical should never be used or brought into an account for the purpose of promotion, it is against FDA regulations. Sales are not educated enough to understand this.

This is laughable. The reason many MSL’s “left” is because they were flat ineffective and worked with zero accountability…heck of a job if you can get it. Sales certainly has its share of talent issues, but the MSL talent pool, outside of 1, has been poor.

You are a fool and not even educated enough to evaluate an MSL's performance. MSL's are not responsible for your shitty sales, PERIOD. Providers would rather meet with an MSL than a pushy salesperson that does not care about patients. they do not know how to critically appraise and evaluate evidence or have a real scientific discussion. This really represents the attitude of the entire commercial organization at Novocure. If you are thinking about working there you may want to think again.
