You may be nice but you are wrong. Nothing is beyond politics. Your job is OK now (maybe) but due to what is going on everywhere it may just go pooph one day. And you were not aware of anything, thus your shock will be far worse. In fact you may never recover. On the other hand if you keep your eyes, ears and everything else open, you may be aware what is happening thus adjust your behaviour to the situation.
I suggest you read "whestleblowers of novartis unite", BPO and other good threads to learn. Then you'll be able to react properly and in time.
Even the biggest crook of them all, Vasella followed everything. He ripped off this co so badly that no one will ever repeat his feat. He had shit on them so big, they paid him anything he wanted. Only govt intervention prevented him to get these extra millions. He stole tens of millions via his expenses accounts. Yes he is under investigation, but in the end he'll get away with it. Why is that? He prepared himself as he went along.
My advice to anyone who would listen: Look for, collect all the evidence of your co's misconduct (enything illegal, criminal, unethical etc), file it and keep it for the day you may need is, as Vasella did. Also those whistleblowers earlier. Remember this or any company ain't your friend. They need you ONLY till they need you. Once that is over, you are over. At least have some ammunition against them when you need it. That way you are in driver's seat, not them. So get out under the rock, and smell the reality.

Did Al Gore have something to do with women's suffrage? Al Gore, just like most of the left-wing radicals, is a complete fraud. So, are you going to denounce Al Gore the same way you do Dan Vasella? Actually, Al Gore's dad, Al Gore Sr. (D) did vote against Civil Rights Act and was a big voice against it. HE even spoke against repealling Jim Crowe laws. Anyway most Democrats say one thing to get what they want and then usually do the opposite (Oh Yeah, Al was also against abortion til he needed to go from state to national politics, then he supported it, kind of the opposite with Obama, wait he's on his third view since he was first running for office).
