No more OSS & HSS

Oh great. This company is nuts to think it can even survive another price increase. The biggest objection out there with our customers is price. Instead of working out a viable solution, how about we give you the middle finger.

There will be NO price increase. Whoever is passing out this lies is on crack. There currently are no plans to raise the price for 2015. The target number has been reduced for a couple of reasons. First, they know they will NEVER reach the 350 mark. In fact, another scheduled reduction will be next quarter as the 280 number is far too unrealistic. Second, the reduction is due to the fact that as they were tabulating the IC bonus plan, they realized no one was going to make a decent bonus at all. Given this fact, they are planning a large layoff, but don't want the top producing reps to quit due to lack of decent bonus.

These are the facts.
 












There's more and more noise out here... Very strong indication that change is a coming. The wisdom of a crowded conjecture will soon turn to fact. I suspect that we will hear something within two days that will be earth-shattering to many. Remember who you all serve... Large shareholders and C-suite executives. The days of empowering the middle class are over. Good luck to all.

OSS here. Think about it. OSS side is on a hiring freeze. Open territories aren't being filled. OSS DMs are either leaving or looking to leave. The OSS upper management has been realigned. OSS IC plan has not been finalized. And OSS reps don't have clear, defined account geographies. All signs point to a major RIF and reorg that will affect mainly OSS. With word of this decreased Ofirmev goal and too many reps, I'm weighing other options because things are gonna get messy. Good thing I haven't bought a car yet.
 






Now I just wonder how many will be laid off. Like a mid-size city with 2 HSS and 2 OSS that all overlap each other. Will they cut both OSS? One of each?

HSS team does not have goals since last quarter either. We obviously don't have this quarters numbers. We keep hearing the same crap. We should have something out soon. It's bullshit and unfair that they do this to anyone. There are many great OSS reps and many bad HSS reps. BTW I'm HSS. I hope they do this fairly and not just cut from one side that got screwed due to terrible leadership and a dud product.
 






Ha!! Thanks, HSS rep above, but they've already done this a few times already.

The first time, many tenured reps got 48 hrs to decide whether to take a PIP or 6 weeks of severance. These were people with MNK 10 years and up. Also, they got away with that because it was due to "performance" even though we had no goal number.

The next was chopping the contract reps who left other jobs and contracts to come to MNK.

If that's not indicative of poor management and a dud product, I don't know what is.
 


















And they dodged WARN because the first phase was under 50 reps. These scumbags will do whatever it takes. I know. I was there.

And another one bites the dust.

Absolutely correct. This upcoming layoff will affect about 40 or so reps. Again under the threshold. The writing is on the wall and it's in all caps, bold font!

hss the best you can do is grow at any level. even 5%. if you arent growing, have low base sales and only a few dinner programs you are asking to be looked at.
oss get the reports in with lots of detail and grow a few cases and thats about the best you can do other then pray other oss's leave thus reducing the head count.
mnk buying a product for oss or hss is obviously a save too.
