Next Round Of Layoffs.

I was told earlier this week from a very reliable source that there will definitely be another round of layoffs in the next few months. I genuinely feel sad for anyone hanging on here. Best thing I ever did was leave. There is definitely life after ORGO and most often you'll find good management in other companies that don't promote for the wrong reasons. Good luck everyone.

You’re right, most people from Orgo will do fine. People leaving criminal mimedx, less so

Weeks before the quarterly earnings were released, the layoffs came. Not. after.

I calling this B.S. Not because layoffs are not going to happen, I think its very likely, but because you imply that Orgo management plans that far ahead of time. Orgo management is reactive, not proactive.

Unfortunately, i had some close exposure to the last round of layoffs. I know for a fact that the decision was made in a very short time. Even higher-ups who were in the loop admittedly were not prepared. The decision was made in a short amount of time. matter of weeks not months.

One red flag to note is that they pushed the employee reviews, bonuses, promotions later than usual...ect. I think they want to clean the house before that.

To be fair there is tons of dead weight in Orgo. If you are someone doing something useful, you shouldn't be very concerned.

Many people with 15, 20 or more years know nothing but Organogenesis. Those are the ones who worry about being laid off. For the younger, less experienced employees, there is life after Organo or any company you may get laid off from. Life goes on.

You will find organizations out there that have respect for their employees. Goalposts are normal in other organizations and the assumption from management is to not assume you dont want to work but to actually have guidance rather than top down “directional leadership” ahem…..micromanagement.

that’s a good point. It does feel here like a lot of management’s attitude towards employees is mistrust and “people don’t want to work,” when I don’t see the evidence of that. Is that common here? I haven’t experienced it in any other job, or at least not since I worked at Starbucks in high school

Of course there is distrust. Look who are the executives. they are "lazy" and pompous and assume veryone else doesnt want to work as well.
