Waiting to hear if it will be renewed past December. G.I.'s still mention how they were pissed off and started writing Dexi, when sales force was pulled out 4 yrs. ago! Would be VERY stupid to not renew, with just 1 1/2 yrs. left on patent, because pulling the sales force a second time,G.I.',I will promise you, will stop writing Nexium like a bad habit, and shift support to Dexi! Remember, these guys have egos, and if they feel taken for granted, they will not keep writing! Another tip, straight from them, they WILL NOT take the time to order samples off the internet and get information,so don't count on that!!Will soon see if common business sense prevails!!!

Get over yourself. No dr wants or needs to be detailed on Nexium. They just want samples and CSAs can provide them.
No GI specialist needed for Nexium. I do Crestor & dr's know they can get nexi through mail. Most dr like Nexium better than Dexi. If they really need a dexi rep coming in for a free lunch to beg for dexi scripts then they r lame.
Please don't comment on something that you know nothing about. We get 2 different sets of numbers, one set with all specialties, and one set with just GI's. The GI only numbers are consistently higher than the all specialties set.You are truly the lame and ignorant one,so why don't you concentrate on dropping off some more Crestor samples tomorrow. I just love know-it-all reps like you. Thanks for the laugh, cause you are truly a joke.
Want to grow Nex share? Beef up sample allotments. Give Reps the autonomy to revise targets quarterly based on access and NRx volume. Allocate realistic luncheon budgets as this is when quality, impactful interactions take place. Allow us to call on more GE's where possible and/ or high volume PCP's. We could be more impactful in the field with a bit more latitude from AZ and tools & trust to manage our resources and go for the business locally.
You are sooooo right! AZ,along with most pharma, has lost sight of the impact we can have on a local level, because,DUH,WE KNOW,our individual terrritories. To sit on your ivory tower and dictate a cookie cutter strategy for the whole country is ludicrous. Messaging is important, but relationship/rapport,is the key. Also, agree business being lost by inability to add more GE's (esp. PA/NP's,who are writing more for PPI's),and PCP's.Get your head out of the sand,AZ,and allow us to maximize our sales.Probably won't happen because it makes too much sense. What fools.
Your answer shows that you are nothing more than a sample dropper.Sure, selling Nexium is not reinventing the wheel, but there are other aspects of the sales call that drs. have questions about, esp. against Dexi. CSA's cannot do these things,so get over yourself, and keep dropping off those samples, swipe!

How many sales reps actually have info that Dr don't already know. You are not a bio major, more like greasy car salesmen! sample dropper? AZ ships u jackass. Drs can call the PAS for real answers. they are at least educated. You are nothing more than take out delivery boys! I laugh everytime I see one of you rolling the cooler & carrying food out of the car. BTW I'll keep samplilng while you are at the unemployment line, snap!

WOW! You are so talented, never met or talked before but you know my background. By the way a##hole,I am a bio minor. You stupid swipe! Keep dropping off those sample, that a trained monkey could do!
Bio major, well that's a useless piece of crap. Exactly, what jobs can you get with that? No wonder you try to make believe what you do has value. You act like you are selling some new product. Face it, drs and staff just want the free lunch. Some drs are so rude they don't even show up for the lunch. PPIs are all very similar (ist hand experience) and unfortunately insurance coverage dictates the one used. So get off your high horse and be happy you have a job.

Enough already with the backbiting on this thread. As a clinical rep, I value and appreciate the sample support from my CSA colleagues. We give each other a heads- up on Account issues, personnel and starter needs etc. We're all in this together and my CSA's bail me out every month as my sample allocations are never enough. I've got their back and they reciprocate. Hopefully our teamwork will yield a renewal of the Nex contract and lead to other opportunities. Thanks CSA's for all you do in what can be a real headache tracking down GE's with ever changing schedules and access challenges.
