New Virtual Call Metric Foolishness in CV

This is all in preparation for something. I am not sure what it is but why pull the trigger 2/3 into Q3 for ridiculous call metrics. Sit tight, and let’s wait for s to hit the fan Q4

It’s got to be a reorg coming soon … the pressure is insane. They need to adjust the bottom line for share holders and justify a reorg with more virtual activities on the books

Well, bye-bye to the PCSK9 will only expedite the demise of CV. CV leadership will tell you otherwise, but they lie as the norm. You trust SW? I don't. How did she get to lead a "sales" force?
Anyway, my forecast....they will combine ALL CV/RENAL teams into one. Can only do so much with Farxiga and Brilinta. Both will be generic soon. Once that happens....poof!

See the stock price. In one month, drop of almost $15.00 per share. One month........

Wonder what that did to the market cap of AZ? Sure that won't bode well for minions.

We should look at this from the bright side: every McDonalds is short staffed right now, and nobody, and I do mean nobody, has more food service experience than we do.

Sorry…..wrong. Management thinks otherwise. Virtual is the future!!! Adapt or wither away

Sorry, but virtual will not drive the needed sales. More and more Dr’s are holding virtual with patients for followups or initial evaluations. The last thing they want is a virtual sales presentation from a rep. Granted there may be exception but overall, this push to virtual will not grow share like management wants/needs.

The poor leadership and lack of motivation is just part of the problem. Virtual calls are a complete joke. The data will speak for itself. Watching it tank is a result of this virtual approach. Things will change soon! We will get scolded again from Sarah. You can count on it.

I probably have 150 doctors that I call on and only one of them will do/prefers virtual only interactions. Once everything opened up, it's all face to face and virtual isn't an option with the exception of a text message or phone call with some. There is no way this company could drive sales virtually in my area if there are physical reps from our competitors still in these offices. If all companies go virtual, everyone will suck and who knows. However, there is no way in Pcx that they are going to launch PT207 virtually.

True….we see how that worked for Breztri. At least we are supposed to wait for best managed care coverage this time…unlike unveiling the great coverage for Breztri which was NOT great. It was disappointing and despite telling us it was great, we continue to get updates on wins. Let’s learn from that launch and launch when we can get new prescriptions without callbacks.

Its crazy with all this virtual stuff. Someone has been fed a bill of goods thinking virtual works. Wasn't there a virtual pilot at one time a few year ago that lasted about six months and the reps were let go do to lack of effectiveness. If virtual was so great nationally, why was AZ the first company to send their reps back after Covid to get back in the field? Virtual interactions were actually easier to get back then. I can't remember our new leaders name, but she needs to get a clue. She's way in over her head. Time for new leadership. Leaders are in panic mode.

Back in my day we never challenged or second guessed our leadership. We all jus collaborated and got along swimmingly. That's why we always rocked the market!!!
AZ was always good to me!

Right! Virtual is going away and has gone away in most of my offices. They don't have time for virtuals any more & don't want to do them.

Her name is Sarah and she manages thru fear because she understands she really isn't a true "leader". When SET has their chosen ones, they are unwilling to really understand that the chosen ones aren't as good as they are thought of. Kirsten, Larry, Sarah, Bob.....and the list can keep growing. They are masters at managing up but have no real substance. Two are gone, one moved to Canada.....Sarah will be .......?

Good luck DSM. The only way you will hit your virtual call metric is if you get all of your reps to lie. Be prepared to be called out on the carpet if that's the case. Lots of emails being forwarded from upper management that are very questionable. Be careful.
