New Openings

Does anyone know anything about these positions? Pay, products, etc.

Just got an email to complete a form for a pre-screen background check. The email states that the company and product cannot be disclosed at this point. States they expect to make offers within 3-5 business days! I have never heard of any pharma position moving that fast, and it frankly raises my scam antennae.

Yeah, initial calculations:

8 calls/day X $25=$200
3 days/week X $200=$600
50 weeks/year X $600=$30,000

Does that seem right? Also, I'm not sure there is a mileage allowance on top of that.

Yeah..that sounds about right with the math. Believe the sig gets your 20 and an extra 5 for gas on each call. Guess 30K for 3 days a week isn't "horrible." Little money coming in while you look for something better.

I got a call out of the blue, two nights ago. Birth Control product.
Got a "short form", application and told to get it back within 48 hours.
It was directed to my Spam Folder, so check it daily.

If you got the email with the form giving permission to do a background chk it
says the company cannot give you any info re. company you be representing or product. It also said something about getting an offer letter with details including salary in 3-5 days but in another section of email stated getting the form in withing 48 hours or you will not be considered for moving forward to the next step.

can't imagine their would be some form of an interview although the indeed.com ad said they needed reps to start "immediately".

*I did hv a phone interview with a pharma co. (not contract) for a part time position today.
Base mid 30K said car allowance rolled into base and qtrly bonus to plan was $3500. No benefits. Might be a comparison of what to expect..

I had a phone interview yesterday....very general stuff. Received an email today to complete a Candidate Release Authorization...upon which I should receive an offer letter in 3-5 business days...is this legitimate or a scam?

Yeah, I emailed my background check release form last night. I only got a return email today from the recruiter saying, "thanks".

I can't imagine they would actually hire someone without an interview.

I received the same email, but have not verbally spoken with anyone. Yeah, my scam meter went off when I got the email, but I researched the company and it is a real contract pharma company.

Applied late last wk or early this week. I got an email back also from the guy named Vince S. to let him know I faxed it and he emailed back the same "Thanks". It's legit.
