New GSK Diabetes Contract

Received an email from the recruiter on Monday. Initial screening now through ... whenever. Face to face interviews to begin by the first part of April. Three year gig with GSK, no word on anything else as yet.

Here's what I know. DMs are hired. Rep interviews should begin week of April 7. Does anyone know who the DMs are in Florida?

we are fine giving out DM info and helpful on-boarding details...but the troll questions...like the size of the expansion and the product mix, meetings and training timeline etc...we really should make them work harder for...after all, they don't give us a cut of their profitable CI contracts

Relax.

Trolling along a threaded board for contractors, who are at the bottom of the food chain is certainly the last place for intelligent intel. I simply didn't want to research it out if someone else has.

Spoke with the recruiter in my area last week and he/she confirmed all of the above. When I was asked about my last pay level; I said I started at70k with one annual merit bump. I was quick to suggest that I wanted to be considered regardless of the contracted salary/bonus. (We contractors are, after all ... gypsies, affording the same loyalty as we receive).

The response to 70k?

No worries ... that was in line for the "projected" level of pay. We shall see ... when or if there is something to look at.

P.S. I'll find out about the projected approval date. Stay tuned.

First of all, a three year gig for a new GLP1 sounds like pretty good opportunity. But what's the management arrangement? Will we be field managed by a Ventiv DM or a GSK DM?

Also, what about appraisal criteria? Will we be appraised according to GSK's new model that is based on customer approval, and no sales performance component?

...you relax now, no one ever said the well paid advanced degree creeps are bright, yet it is a fact, they troll here and then write it up like a primary interview, we may be the last to know, but the competition would find out even later than us... this piddly stuff is not written up anywhere or easy to find and these competitor monitoring projects pay in the hundreds of thousands per year...juggle a few of them, and CP trolling pays an easy profit..best to discriminate all
