This may be the worst bonus plan I have ever been a part of. The way this company does the sales goals practically assures the bulk of the reps will be under 100% and will no get zero dollars no matter how much revenue is generated. Time to get out
 






For a very long time, the senior leadership has taken the position that the money should go into their pockets and not the reps.

Selling doctors to use an in-network lab with a Quest collection office down the hall isn't exactly the toughest sell. Essentially most of Quest's business is derived from contracting, piggy backing profitable business off of contracting and well placed lab drawing locations.

Sorry, but whoever negotiated the contract, paid for and manages the infrastructure was much more responsible for sales in your territory than you were.

Using the new plan I would have made 39% less last year. My annual raise this year does not offset the drop.

Nailed it? I don't think so. Clients still have a choice as do patients in my area. Yes Quest has Aetna and LCA has UHC but other then that things are open. It's up to the rep to identify client needs and get the job done. Typically after the sell the rep then has to guide the pinheads in operations to do their jobs! Take away the reps and Quest would be screwed. Try not to post such stupid comments which are driven by your jealousy. Try being a rep put there and you would gain more insight. We can all feel your anger and frustration, door to door salesman. Not to worry though, I am sure are still employable selling amway. Provided that Operations gives you a reference.

You do realize that you are bragging about your salary on a thread / board where all of your fellow door to door salesmen are griping about there inadequate income and benefits. Perhaps you are one of the "elite superstars" I keep reading about. Do tell.
 






Been around a while and have worked at other large laboratory organizations. This new comp plan is so bad that it is offensive.

The idea is to move to kids just out of college who are happy just to have a job or as in my region hire warm bodies - not anyone actually fit for the job. Our ESD (yes we only have one) is all about filling open positions in the very least amount of time possible without much thought to skill set.

Quest will train anyone regardless of experience since we have an excellent training program to prepare them.

So you don't work for Quest and just hang out and post on the Quest CP message board bragging about how much you claim to earn and how little you have to work, all because you hate ops management?? Sounds like we fired you and you can't let it go, if you ever worked for us at all, door to door salesman. Now run along. Those vacuum cleaners won't sell themselves.
