Thanks to everyone for playing this week. I also appreciate the Bday Shout Outs!

I had a good birthday but the upset games just about killed me!! I think we saw at least 2 coaches on the hot seat yesterday. Mac Brown of Texas and Lame Kiffin of USC. You just can't loose with that much talent on your team and expect to be the Head Coach of two programs with very high standards.

Florida losing to Miami also was a shocker.. There are some rumors going around that if Mac Brown is fired at Texas then Will Muschamp will be the next Head Coach? Miami to me along with USC have always been the Villains Of College Football. I guess we need our villains to be dangerous to make things more interesting.

Other Shocker Games: Ohio State starting QB out of the game after an injury during the 1st Qtr. The back up QB looked better than the starter!!

West Virginia also showing up and playing Oklahoma so hard??

I can't believe Notre Dame is going to be playing ACC schools next year during the regular season. They better rethink that because the ACC has really made a comeback and it is going to be a tougher conference to win in.
 






Although I realize there is no love lost between Spurrier and Richt, did anybody notice they didn't even shake hands after the game? At least it didn't look like that did.

Spurrier is such a dickhead....I can't imagine ANYBODY wanting to shake his hand.....

Just now coming out of the fog of last nights pitiful SC game, :(:(how can any PAC12 Team lose to the worst team in the conference--Wash State??:confused: USC was booooooed most of the game last night. Stupid plays , weak quarterbacks. They were worse than my kids' high school team on Friday Night. Both the quarterbacks should be fired.
But BAMABOY-- I don't think it's Kiffins fault, he has no talent to work with because of all the sanctions.SC is down players, and couldn't recruit good quarterbacks. I wouldn't want to be him reporting to Pat Hayden this morning.
Although---Soooo Happy my Wolverines Beat ND!!!!Best game of the day!!!!

I thought I saw on the overhead cam that the met in midfield and shook hands. Very busy camera angle, did I imagine the hand shake?

Waste of $$$, Pissed off and hot in the Coliseum.
Although--- the tailgating was really fun:D Next time I am staying at the tailgate and watching the game from the flat screen there.

VAG: We use the spread that is listed on USA TODAY: http://sportsdirect.usatoday.com/odds/usatoday/ncaaf.aspx

Also once I post the spread players make their picks based on the original posted spread. Lines can change but usually not much to make a big difference. It is also to much for me to keep up with to change the line and then have players make updated picks. (This is covered in the rules)

To check scores I recommend the SCORE MOBILE iphone App. It is also available for Andriod as well. This is the best way to stay on top of scores.

Edit: I just double checked my posted scores and they are accurate. I also just double checked your picks against the spread and you were (4-6) for the week. That is better than me!! :) (3-7) Which is just "turrible."

This is the way to go to a game! Hang out with your friend who has the $100k RV and get the game day experience with out all of the inconveniences of being in the stands.

I did not know you were a Michigan fan? It was one hell of a game last night. Marshall Mathers (Eminem) was interviewed by Herbstreit during half time which was hilarious.

Are you originally from Michigan. The two states in this country I find which people move away from the most are New Jersey and Michigan. Lots of Michiganders have settled down South (Tennessee and BAMA) because this is where car manufacturing is moving to. Bigger tax breaks, no unions and warmer weather. Oh yeah, better college football!!

Yes, I am a HUGE Michigan FAN! My dad and 2 brothers are alums and hardcore fans. I was almost made to go to MI, but convinced my dad that ASU was better for me. And that is why I also hate Michigan St. And Yes, my family hails from MI, Bloomfield Hills, a little suburb of Detroit. And actually there are some beautiful parts of MI that I really like-- Like Macinaw and the Upper Peninsula.
My family all moved to Phoenix many years ago to escape those cold, depressing MI winters, worst weather in the country. And yes many Michiganers have second homes down south mostly FL, or are moving south/ west. On a sad note--I was there 2 years ago for a month touring the state, and it is really sad what has happened, declining population, most of Detroit looks like a war zone.
I saw the Eminem interview. I like him too- love his music.

Michigan is a beautiful State! Every region of the country has it's best season and you are right Summer is a great time up there. I think Michigan has the most coast line compared to any other State. I saw on the news where Detriot is going to start tearing down the blighted buildings that are in and around the city. It does amaze me though the Michigan "diaspora," that have resettled in other parts of the country.

My most favorite current Detriot Musician is Jack White! I like how the Michigan Band played the White Stripes song "Seven Nation Army." Some great music has come out of Detriot, not just MoTown but the MC5 and Iggy & The Stooges!
