Nice job on getting the bowl schedule out so soon, BamaBoy. Looks like we have our work cut out for us. Some of the games are 'gimmes' w/no spread required. But many will require some deep, deep thought and head scratching moments. Boy, would I ever laugh my ass off if a shitty team like Louisville beat Florida. If Northern Illinois beat FSU that would tickle my ass too.

As I stated, I will have wait for the Heisman award before I disclose my pick for the NC game. If Manatee Teo wins it I go all in for the Tide. I hate it when awards are gamed. If Manatee gets a pass I go with ND. I know that's not a very scientific way to pick games but there's nothing in the rules that requires me to use logic. Sometime seat of the pants bullshit methods work just as well.

Oh, BamaBoy. Just a helpful suggestion. As we go through the bowl season you might keep a tally of correct and incorrect picks for each player. You know, like every 10 games or so. That way you won't have a bundle of work to perform after the NC game and take 2 or 3 days to get us the results. I planned on holding the "Gold Crown Affair" ceremony no later than the morning of Jan. 9th. And I must RSVP all principals w/appropriate instructions.

So let's make this as easy as possible for everyone. Thanks much.

Her Honor Queen Fucktard will place the Gold Crown upon our newly annointed King or Queen unless, of course, Queen Fucktard wins the Gold Crown too. In that case BamaBoy will get the honor. I am thinking about holding the "Gold Crown Affair" ceremony in the State of Colorado so all you pot smokers are welcomed to bring your stash. At the beginning of the ceremony the MC will announce over the loudspeaker when the bar opens "Lite 'em up if you got 'em". However, you must abide with the same hours as the open bar - which I believe will be 7pm to 9pm MST. But I might be wrong on that. I will get back to you later with a confirmation as that Jan 8th approaches.

Yeah I think that if we have a tiebreaker then we could work this in. I will definitely be scoring picks as the bowl games progress. We should have a winner either before the NC or the NC will decide the winner like last year.

Everyone just needs to keep watching this board throughout the bowl game season to see if we are going to have to implement a tie breaker.

I have a cogent suggestion, BamaBoy

Even though we are not using spreads for the bowl games I think it would be proper to link the USA Today Sports Direct spread lines and other relevant information for the bowl games in your opening post. This would give our players full disclosure on the bowl teams so that nobody complains afterwards about being placed at a competitive disadvantage.

I thought about doing that but I don't want to confuse anyone. I just don't want people to think it is a Spread type of pick. I know the title says no-spread but some folks might jump on and hastily make their picks. I would be happy to post a link so each individual player can look at the point spreads for themselves. People need to remember that Vegas lines are set to have equal number of bets placed on both sides. I don't know if the lines will actually help people. For people to make really good picks they need to do some research of their own. For instance there have been several coaching changes in the last few days. This will have a major impact on the outcome of these games.

BTW, have you been watching of the FCS (Divison 1AA Playoffs?) These games have been really good and really close. If a lower level division can pull off a playoff then so can the major conferences. There have been lots of upsets. The Georgia Southern Vs. Old Dominion game was great. That Army/Navy game was really close as well.
