I need you also to highlight in bold and underline your picks for me so it is easier for me to make sure I got your picks right. Some of your picks were in bold and some not. I appreciate your help with that. I just want to be accurate as possible.

VaTech won but we lost the spread. I'm just glad they won cause Mrs. Moore hates this team for some reason. (maybe all the bowls they stole from Boyse state). They have become my 3rd favorite team.

Sorry. But Kellen Moore broke some college records that probably won't get broken again in our lifetimes. Kellen deserves much more respect than what he gets on these boards. He is one helluva QB and always find a way to get the job done. He pulled off some remarkable wins against top 10 opponents consistently. Take a look at his college W-L record. Who else has matched that in their college career? Kellen in a victory machine. The Detroit Lions must have a very smart coach. He found himself a jewel. And I will defend Kellen Moore vigorously on the comment boards.

I haven't seen this much man love, since Fuckie used to swoon over Tim Tebow. She's a girl, so you can kind of see it. If Kellen Moore becomes as productive as Tebow in the NFL, you should be ecstatic. I don't see it happening though.

Was that prediction right??? Yep. It was spot on accurate.

And you won't find the same self-analysis, honesty and accuracy from anyone else on these boards.

Sure - my prediction on the GT-VT was wrong. I'm not Kreskin. I never claimed to be. That's the reason I never bet more than $10 on any game at the casinos. But I got the VT-GT pick right and that's all that really matters in Pick Em, right? Everthing else is noise.

My final score for Week #1: 4-8. YEP! LAST PLACE. BOTTOM OF THE STINK BARREL.

And I have another prediction, Pale Face: I might not win the Cafe Pharma Pick-Em contest for 2012/13. There are others on this board who have more talent at picking winners than I do and they will likely outshine me. But I will looking at you through the rear view mirror. That's my prediction. Put some of that in your pipe and smoke it. :)

Tebow is only in his 2nd year. He has a good shot at replacing Sanchez as the Jet's starting QB by mid-season. Don't discount his abilities or his future value.

Moore is a rookie who is still wet behind the ears. He's passed the first test and made the Lion's roster. I trust the judgment of the Lion's coaching staff. The coaches aren't not going to add a 3rd QB to the roster and forego adding another LB or defensive lineman unless they saw something special in Moore that you are blind to. The coaches aren't going to act against their own self-interests. The coaches don't have an affirmative action hiring plan for Idaho players. I trust the coaches judgment. And I think Kellen would be an excellent NFL back-up QB in his early years and a starter by year 3-4 after he learns the system and improves his scrambling ability. Kellen has EXCELLENT INSTINCTS on the field and that is more than half the game for a QB.

Are you this hard on new employees that join a pharma company? Do you expect them to be superstar #1 salespeople in their 1st year of hire? Or do you give them a chance to develop?

Why the cold feet? You said that you were "in" for the 2012/13 season. As a vet you could show us a thing or two. Please reconsider.

Personal problems...pretty tough right now. I only post one line quips these days. I have a real heavy heart..and can't get into the football thingy right now. If I spilled my guts, I would be a downer for all here...and that's not what I want to do.

Sorry to hear that you're going through hard times, Night Train. And I hope things improve, as I'm sure they will for you. Sometimes the best remedy is a diversion away from them. And Cafe Pharma PICK 'EM could be one of those rest stops. We'd like for you to join us, problems and all. Even though we always don't get along and or we might see things differently - we have a special gridiron bond and your old shoes are always welcomed inside our home. You're a Cafe Pharma original - and those aren't easy to find. Godspeed, old boy!
 






BTW, Bamaboy.

You had me 3-8 going into Monday's V Tech - G Tech game. I double checked. I was actually 2-9. My only wins were (1) Notre Dame and (2) Syracuse unless you can find another win of mine.

And I won the G Tech game on the spread.

That makes me 3-9, not 4-8.

Hey, BroncoBoy, I'm honest, too! The Gators will SUCK out loud this year, I can throw a football (QB of high school powderpuff team - grew up playing football with all the guys in the neighborhood), I still swoon over Tebow (it's his 3rd year, btw), and FSU will NOT play for the NC.

Now take that to the honesty bank.
